Does not sound correct. If the pistons were blown and the rings fell apart, there is no way those cylinders would be okay, that would defy physics. That simple. The speed of the pistons and rings going up and down and the increased pressures from the turbocharged engine, yea , no way sir.

Not having a PPI was a mistake! It would uncover problems prior to purchase. Mike passes, or gets lower price. He declined a PPI or in person inspection. By doing so, he accepts any issues the car may have. One of the first rules in buying a vehicle? "Never believe what the seller (dealer or individual) tells you!"

There is no way those rings just fell out and there's no damage or scoring to the cylinder walls. At this point I would buy a new engine cause it's highly likely your going to do all this work to the motor and adding all that extra HP and you will be doing it on a motor that isn't 100% anymore and it will fail and you will have spent 30 g's and it will all be for a waste...

Mike, i have many compliments for you as I admire your entrepreneurialism and ethical standards. I enjoy your videos. My career was spent in business management. There are 3 red flags that could really threaten your business. First, is floor plan expenses. I calculate your all in cost(interest rate plus fees) running between 15% and 20% based on the examples you shared with your audience. Wow that's outrageous! I suggest you sell your expensive autos, place more of your personal funds in the business to minimize this impact on your P and L. Second, is watch the rate you add additional expenses into your business. Work out a ratio of sales to expenses or profit to expenses that you have modeled out to make sure you do not become overextended. Then stick to your plan! Third, never ever buy a car unseen. The downside is just too great(as you have shown). Show some discipline! Hey, I am pulling for you and your wife.
