I was getting so frustrated with the long taxi and long waits, then I realized...I'm not really on the plane, I'm watching a RUclips video. That is how realistic this is as far as feeling I'm sitting in the seat. Great video. But that place is a lot like a parking lot at a department store on Black Friday.
Well, I feel weird saying that I'm glad it had that effect, but on the other hand that means my videos are achieving their intended purpose haha.

Wow. First A 321neo that i saw from United. Build in Alabama. Great. 👍 What a monster airfield. Three different runways for landing open and taxi lasts for ever. That's O'Hare.
DFW at times has four runways open for landings exclusively: 18R, 17C, 17L, and if southeastern winds are really strong, then 13R as well.

I don’t know for sure. They only had two when I took this and the second wasn’t in service yet. I’d imagine they have half a dozen at this point.
I had a delay once on a 737 max 8 of United I got delayed an hour do to a storm we were on the runway waiting to take off until we got cleared route was DCA-IAH and then CUN
You got the audio right on! There was no difference in either ear, speaker or headphone speaker. Did you figure out what to do? Also, when I mentioned episode 545 and how it was perfectly balanced, I hoped it helped you solve the balance issue, and what do you know? It did! What an exciting flight, too. Great job!
Well, that's awesome to hear, but your guess is as good as mine. Because I didn't do anything different on this one from every other video. Because with the way I film, there's really not much I can do with the audio without getting new equipment and spending far more time editing. I actually tried filming with a separate, "professional" microphone several years ago. I filmed a flight with the regular iPhone camera, but used a professional external mic to capture the audio. It was so time consuming to then try to splice them all together in the right places that I abandoned that after only the single attempt. And to be completely honest, I still thought the iPhone mic sounded better than what the "professional" mic captured. So, besides the things we've talked about before about how I record in stereo and the sound varies based on where I sit, I really have no idea why it's better here than on other videos. Because this is the same camera/mic that I used to film the previous video where you said it wasn't balanced. So I'm glad it's good on this one, but I didn't do anything different 😬.

I was at the airport viewing area that day and I shot a pic of your plane holding in position for takeoff! Was your window shade partially lowered? I see a window with a partial shade in the "D" of United above the engine. The viewing area is visible at 27:34 I am standing on a little hill right at the edge of that white building.
That was almost my window you saw with the window partially closed. I film by hand, so I usually used the window shade to help keep my hand from moving. I usually hold the camera kind of like the Shaka sign 🤙 only sideways. My pinky usually goes under the window shade and then the shade rests on my three other fingers. It helps me keep my hand steady.

The aircraft ahead of us was slow to exit the runway. At some point the Capitan makes an announcement about it, but I couldn't tell you what the actual timestamp was.

Which airlines A321neo wins?
Well, that’s a good question. And might be kind of difficult to even answer. But one thing is for sure…. It’s not American, Frontier, or Spirit 😂. Of the other US carriers that fly them, I’d say it’s like this….
I’d say Hawaiian brings up the rear since they don’t have any screens for IFE. But, the recent addition of free Wi-Fi on their A321’s is a great benefit now. Then I’d say Delta and United are super close to each other, but ultimately United has slightly more features on theirs so I’d say United wins out. The fact that you can use your Bluetooth headphones and earbuds and connect them to the IFE screen on United’s is a huge plus!
@@sla31For me, it’s neither of the US Carriers but China Airlines has the best A321neo hands down. Their A321neo’s have one of the largest screens ever on a narrowbody aircraft and have super comfortable seats.
@GarlandTexasSpotter2024 well that may be true, but I was talking about US carriers since that was what this video was on. Plus, I haven't flown on any A321NEO's except on US carriers.

Just an idea, one week you shouldn't tell us the airlines or aircraft you will fly on, and only tell us the airports and have us guess the aircraft.
Well, I mean, to be fair that’s kind of what I used to always do before I posted the “this week on the channel” posts 😂. But I get what you mean. It will not be this week though as I have to promote a specific video this week 😁.
Nothing like some dork on the flight doing the loud spit thing, grossing others out. It qualifies as worse than the crying baby.
And you know what. He never got the hint as several people glared at him when he'd do it.

Nearly an hour of just darkness towards the end?
Not quite. First, I don't attach the camera to anything. Most airlines don't allow people to stick stuff to their planes, and the times people do get away with it, it's most likely the crew just didn't want to bother. I hold the camera by hand the entire time. And no, I don't put anything on my videos that you wouldn't see if you were the one sitting in that seat. I don't use any music, narration, text on the screen, nothing. My channel has one purpose. To showcase the beauty in aviation with as high a quality video as possible, with minimal edits and distractions. You're not going to see text fly past the window telling you what you just flew over on the flight, so you won't see that on my videos. And yes, when I say the "full flight" I mean the full flight. Even if that means hours of just a blinking light on the end of the wing. You'd be surprised. Some of my best performing videos are ones that take place all at night, as people use them to help relax or sleep to.

Well, I do fly Delta occasionally. But I disagree that it's way better than Untied. In my experience/opinion, in the last couple of years, United has been beating Delta on many fronts. I've had a plethora of problems when flying Delta from major mechanical delays to planes that simply look old and tired on the inside. Something that Delta was very good at dealing with in the past. You could board a 25 year old A320 and somehow it still looked brand new on the inside. That's not been my experience anymore, I've had some pretty rough looking planes on Delta. Some with broken IFE, some with broken seats completely, and one where the entire plane's IFE system had to be restarted like 10 times. You know, I try not to have favorites as I do try to keep things interesting on here by flying everyone. But, I inevitably end up liking some over others, and United has just done better with a much larger sample than Delta. Now, some of it is just luck, or lack of luck for some Delta flights. But, at a certain point it does start to paint a broader picture. I fly 8 flights with Delta in the same period that I fly 25 flights on United and United has only 1 major delay/issue and Delta has 5. It's not all luck at that point.
Sorry to report but Delta and American are far worse that United. They both have declined dramatically in my opinion. United has far better new modern aircraft , better hub cities, better business clsss and far better lounges. Not to mention United’s international service to the Paciffic and Europe is 10x s better than any American airliner in 2024. Just my opinion and many others I’ve noticed in recent reviews . Safe travels whomever you choose.
