Finding a patch of wild blueberries in summer=great childhood memory. And unripe kiwis are so incredibly sour but my daughter loves them that way. I like them so ripe they're about to turn soft.
They can take some of those seeds from the kiwi and grow them. They're easy to grow and are on a vines that can be trained. Blueberries have seeds too, but they're extremely small. Throw a handful of berries into some dirt, wait a bit, water it, and you'll get blueberries. Every time. Both fruits come back every year if protected from the cold winters with mulch.
i believe that some people there think ladies should take sour foods to help with a ladies specific issues, health, monthly situation etc and it will keep them healthier
Their wonderment is really charming! These fruits are so common to us in Texas and so foreign to these gentlemen. It’s cool to see them discover something new!
I’m from Maine, the Northernmost state in the US, and we’re famous for our blueberries! They’re everywhere up here, they’re made into jam and syrup, baked into pies, pancakes, and muffins, and, my favorite, eaten raw! It makes me so happy to see people trying them for the first time! :D
I find it amazing that they taste stuff for the first time, and mentioned how or when it should/could be eaten. And 100% of the time, they’re right. Like the kiwi in a salad or milkshake. Or the blueberry before lunch “and most people have blueberry pancakes for breakfast”, just to mention a few examples
I have four, giant, blueberry bushes in my yard. I wish they could taste them warm off the plant. If you guys happen to be in America in June you're welcome to come pick as many as you want! 😀
here in the state of Maine, USA we have the sweetest blueberries! they don't grow to a large size due to our short grow season, but are unbelievably sweet and more delicious than the bigger blueberries these gentlemen ate today! i wish they could experience ours!
Blueberries or kiwis from anywhere can be sweet or sour at different times. Someone should pre-screen their fruits to ensure that they are ripe and truly representative of the fruit.
As a Canadian who even has blueberries in the wild growing up, it was fascinating watching them find similar fruit since they have no comparison. I never compared blueberry to plum but it makes sense actually
I love this channel so much! I can't wait to see a notification pop up. I can hardly describe how much you all have impacted my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤
I'm happy at least one knew that a Kiwi is in fact a bird (from New Zealand) The name Kiwifruit was coined by an American trying to promote the product.
Please tell them that I wish everyone in the world would be as opened minded and wanting to try new things like these fine people. No matter what it concerns in life. Honest but still so respectful in every video. We are all people and with love in our hearts and willingness to understand other cultures there would be no wars. Love from Sweden.
@Emma Öhr, EVERYONE around the world?! That’s dramatic to say! Lol… Every single person from birth to old age? Lol! I don’t know where you have been but lots of people do try new things and do have an open mind! They always have. People love to try new things all the time, from going out in the world and seeing new places, tasting different foods from other countries, even making new friends from other countries. And people like learning about other faiths and culture’s. That’s why people like to travel so they can see what’s out there that’s new to them. Do you think that EVERYONE around the world just sit in their homes all day long, all their life not leaving? Umm, no. You do see people going on airplanes? It’s so people can go from one place to another, they talk about their travels, the foods they ate that they never had before, the places they saw. Because these men tasted fruit they never tasted before, you think the whole wide world should be exactly like them? Hate to burst your bubble, everyone (not including babies lol) on planet earth, already has an open minded. You should go out there and see it for yourself, you’ll be amazed! Lol 🤦🏻♀️
Trust me, friends, you all give me far more than any present or food gift you receive. You all remind me that good people live everywhere in the world and I'm glad I've made your acquaintance. Thank you and God bless.
My dad (in California), always used the Kiwi shoe polish since I was a kid! I don’t know if that shoe polish is still around though… but they say the Kiwi is sour because they never tasted a kiwi before, so to them, it’s the only way to describe how it tastes to them. I don’t think they know to say it’s tart, not as sour. But they all enjoyed the kiwi and the blueberries! 😁💖
The look on SharKhan’s face when he ate the kiwi was priceless he didn’t know which eye to open ..And of course Chadhaurys face has no secrets..Tahir always with the great advice, Rana Which we have already adopted as an American ,he’s a beast.
😂😂😂So nice. If we talk about exotic fruits in germany we think about Papaya, starfruit, Maracuja and Things like that, but Not Kiwis or blueberry. They should try gold Kiwi. IT is sweeter
Yes, you could tell when they were peeling them with the knives, how hard they were. If they had never even seen one though, it’s pretty amazing they got a Kiwi to them, ripe or not. 💜 these guys!
If the kiwi is sour it must not be ripe. Kiwis are not sour at all, they are extremely sweet. Were they hard? Ripe kiwi should have a little bit of squish.
@Rabbi Spidermann , I am 70 years old and I have yet to eat a kiwi that is sweet. The ones sold here (west Texas) are sour like lemons 😖. Even if I let them ripe for days, they’re still sour. As a matter of fact, most of the fruit sold in supermarkets today is bland 😝, no taste at all except maybe for bananas. Once in a while, you might get lucky and get a piece of fruit 🍎 🍉 that’s sweet; other times it’s a crapshoot.
I look forward to seeing these videos. With the Kiwi fruit cut the top off and eat it like a boiled egg. Kiwi fruit is also good to marinate tough meat in, just mash it up and put it with your meat and it will be very tender when you cook it. Blueberries have more antioxidants when they have been frozen.
There are kiwi farms in my area of California. Plus to the north in Oregon they raise blueberries. Its funny to think of something so common here as "exotic".
I never thought of blue berries as exotic before!😄 we have some REALLY good ones up here in Alaska. Strawberries, raspberries, salmon berries, cloud berries etc. Wish I could send y'all some
There is something called Golden kiwis that are yellow instead of green and they are sweet. The traditional green kiwi seems to be difficult to get and have them ripen. I'm sure it's because they pick them too early so that they will not go bad but sometimes when they're picked that early they never ripen
I've seen kiwis that are gold with red around the seeds but they're very limited availability, maybe 2 weeks of the year. Those I think are the sweetest when ripe. I really like the golden ones best.
So glad you all liked the blueberries, I go picking them when they are in season. I live in Florida,US and from December to January we have oranges and then from about February on we have strawberries and blueberries that you can go pay a price and pick yourself.
There are seeds inside they are very tiny . I hope someone tries to grow them. I have two blueberry bushes that I planted in my back yard back in the Spring , they are doing great 😊
I used to live in Alaska and we would go blueberry picking every summer as they grow wild up there. With all the sunlight they grow quite big (well, big for a blueberry) and are sweet. They had a hint of a banana flavor to them. My dad (with his 41 magnum on his hip in case of bears) and I would find a patch and do the "one for the bowl, one for me" thing and my mom would get so mad at us. We made blueberry jam, pie, muffins and lemon blueberry pound cake and of course froze a bunch of them to enjoy throughout the winter. I love kiwis too but you have to make sure they have some "give" to them for ripeness and then they will be sweet with a kind of strawberry flavor. Good job.
Kiwifruit is like a cross between oranges, green apples, and honeydew melon. Blueberries taste like a mix of purple and green grapes, persimmons a little bit, huckleberries, blackberries and a bit of apple. 😊👍
You gave them unripe fruit! That's why kiwi and blueberries are sour. They look ripened but they are not until they are sweeter. Those men are VERY polite. Bless them.
I make a blueberry upside down cake. You put 2 L or 2 quarts here, of blueberries in the bottom of a rectangle cake pan. 1/2 cup of brown sugar mixed with 2 tsp of cinnamon and sprinkle over berries. Pour a yellow box cake mix, prepared by directions on the box and bake for 45 - 50 minutes at 350° F or until middle is firm to touch.
btw as a kiwi, this is called Kiwifruit. just like passonfruit. one word 👍 Also golden Kiwifruit is much sweeter and yummier. I'm so pleased they know it's a bird! and shoe polish lol
im glad Tahir liked the kiwi, it's 1 of my fav kinds of juices, i LOVE its green color Mmmmmm so good, Minute maid juice makes a kiwi strawberry juice and it is my fav drink besides maybe Green Tea :) May God watch over you all and your families
You can actually eat the skins too. They have a lot of nutrients in the skin as well as many nessicary vitamins. The only problem is it makes it a lot more sour tasting.
These guys need to come to England, they can have strawberries, blueberry, apple pie, Cornish Pasties, tea and biscuits, cheesecake, roast beef dinners, magnum ice cream and Cadbury cream eggs. Visit some castles, go to the beach and see the queen.
Us Kiwis (what New Zealanders call ourselves) call those kiwis "kiwi fruit"(I think they're actually called Chinese Gooseberries). And yes we grow them here. Cut them him half and scoop them with a spoon. Often hit and miss between sour and sweet. Great on Pavlova.
Blueberries mashed in some condensed milk, with a little bit of sugar on top. Was a favorite breakfast of mine when I was a kid. We picked our own blueberries wild here.
Easiest way to eat a kiwi, is to cut it in half and scoop the contents out. If these were sour, it's because they weren't ripe. Love these guys!!
Desde que empezaron a pelar la fruta se notaba que no estaba madura.
I cut them in quarters and bite it out.
I cut them in half than squeeze it out.
