Wonder how they got the FCC to go along with dropping the T off the call sign.
What year was this?
From the looks of it, this was most likely used in the early-1960s. The letter T was dropped from the callsign since 1967.
It had to have been between September 1959 (when the NBC “Snake” logo debuted) and December 31, 1966 (the day before WMCT became WMC-TV). I would also guess early ‘60s.
