Thank you for sharing such valuable information
As mentioned before, excellent video. And I can tell you were worried about perception from the general public haha
A few thoughts: (will edit as I have time if necessary)
• Start Up Time: Savant should start up quicker than a Lotus, but slightly slower than Provost. If you find yourself waiting more than 5-6min, please consider the thickness or heat resilience of the bowl you’re using as well as the heat resilience of the tobacco you packed. You can always put the third coal flat on the Stainless Plate to speed up the process of getting the Savant to temp. Once it’s there, immediately remove the third coal and let the Savant do its thing because it will stabilize and control the heat for you until it’s time for a new round of coal.
• I call it an HSD. I’m the one who designed and approved the packaging after all. The Savant *is* the first of its kind, truly. However when speaking casually, I call it an HMD to not overcomplicate things for the majority of enthusiasts. I just found it funny that you mentioned that in your video.
• Yes, the Plate is called the Plate because it’s too thick to be anything other than a plate.
I’ll rewatch and update this comment in future edits if necessary. And again, great job!
36 minutes of pure knowledge 🔥
thanks 👍
CANT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON SAVANT
It's a masterpiece 🔥🔥
thanks 👍
Thanks for putting out this excellent and informative video Akash. You've covered all the points in depth.
thanks sanjay

Few things I’d disagree with like foil enhancing nicotine or flavour intensity, this is not true however overall great video!
if u pack a bowl such that it touches the entire base of the lotus then the nicotine extracted out of the tobacco is more, more spiky heat more nic
Hey there! Foil sessions, by nature have a far higher ceiling than current no-foil HMDs in terms of flavor potency, nic release, and session longevity. It’s up to the individual to reach that ceiling with their knowledge, skill, and comprehension. The Savant pretty much does it for you with next to no effort as it was engineered to do.
My experience is ash keeps falling into the bowl, and I feel it over heats too much. I usually use provost and zeppelin hmd and I never have any issues.
If you were to have foil on and use it with the device on top of foil, ash shouldn’t fall inside the bowl, on top of the foil maybe but not inside. If it overheats for you then when starting the pipe reduce coals or coal size
it should not overheat at all, if used in the recommended settings are u toppling 3 coals sitting down ?
@@HookahBuzz I had the coals set the same way you did, I packed Eternal Smoke, fluffed pack to the rim session started out really good maybe like 30 min into it the Shisha started to burn really bad even taking off the one coal off after around 15 min or so. Then I tried musthave same results! I’m using Mason helix bowl, it has to be the way I’m packing it! But never really have issues when using the provost.
@@DansWorld_94hey bud! Take the third coal down as soon as you get nice flavor not after it starts overheating. The Savant will activate and do all the work for you from that point on. Edit - with 2 coals. That third coal essentially serves as a means to get the Savant to temp, after that Savant takes over with 2 as in its core its a 2 coal HMD. Ofc the size and type of coal you use effects this so play around with what you have just keep my initial suggestion in mind
Also, something to note, ash can’t fall into the bowl unless you’re poking giant holes. Which isn’t recommended for any foil setup
