- This is just a looping recording of the theme song of Safijiiva while he targets you extended in area 2. I made it so that I could listen to it while not fighting safi and now you can too
A lot of people say the heartbeat is the hunter hearing their own panicked beat, but I heard someone once say it could be Safi's because this creature is just THAT powerful, and it focusing on you means you get to know it better whether you want to or not. And I love the thought of it being so powerful you can hear its *un-panicked* heartbeat

i honestly don't know why and can't explain in a good way. But seeing as i get chills every time i get targeted i thought it fit better

I ended up constantly trying to steal Safi's focus because this theme was a bop.

And just to think this safi is incredibly nerfed due to it growing up under the guiding lands instead of the elders recess, and even then the elders recess one would have been much stronger if zora had died in the everstream instead of the ocean

@@hadgeron9556 Why would it be a different zora? It most likely is the one that we seen alive from the base game, considering it went there to die to begin with. Although redirected by the commission, it could've died somewhere else, perhaps where the guiding lands is now 🤷🏾♂️ well that's how I see it atleast.
Regardless, safijiiva really might still be nerfed, because if everything had fell into place for the the first xenojiiva, it would have been a whole other problem, perhaps black dragon level
@@_MegaMind_ Zorah would need a LOT of time to decay into the guiding lands. We only drove "our" zorah away towards the ocean. If this was the zorah we fought, then it would've still been alive. It's impossible that it hadn't decomposed and fossilized itself into TGL that quickly.
Stop making your own canons, it's been a general rule that monsters among different games generally stays at around the same level, so there's literally no proof if a different Safi individual that grew up in Recess would had been different lol.
Legit the only dragon in existence that can stand up to Fatalis.

When safi jiva put his ire on me, I was ready to fight, UNTIL I HEARD THE NOST HORRIFYING VERSION OF he’s a simple sailor. and so I told myself, run as fast as you can, your life depends on it, and when my friends asked me why I was running, I played this song, and they understand why.
and that my friend is why world is great. It drove home the horror of being chased by this *thing* or worse. From the appearance of the beast to the music, World perfected grandiose fights like this.

I would say that it’s not really a spoiler when the game is 2 years old but I only just got into the series myself with the release of base rise last year and picked up world while waiting for sunbreak
For my first time playing this, I remember I got targeted for the entire fight, so this became the default theme, and for it being my first, it was so intense and Epic---had a blast trying to dodge everything he threw at me. Thank you, Capcom for giving me that experience
To me, the scariest part about the theme is always that siren-like wail, coupled with the sudden distorted boom. It's like there's an actual alarm going off in the hunter's mind as they realize Safi is going for them *and only* them. It honestly gives me the chills.

The moment this started playing during the siege, I could never tell which heart was beating. Loved getting the ire and felt like the fight was evened out in those moments.
The heartbeat sound literally increases in speed as the theme becomes more aggressive. It’s like both our hunter’s and Safi’s heartbeat together. Omfg I love this detail so much
This is all I hear when the Greatsword comes out
@Serena Maslon because when I do I keep the aggro doing mad damage and generally keep it near the ledge to get like 2 mounts-- usually helps for tail cut too, GS is great for doing huge chunks of damage to keep the aggro and with tackle and guard you have options to stave it off with a decent sheathe time to heal in a pinch so its a great weapon for keeping him on you-- id rather have him on me than someone without a block or that I see carting from it

Keep this in mind: Safi’jiiva is *barely fully-grown.* You can just imagine the power of this beast, in its prime… Remember this, Safi is only as old as 10 years, at best. Imagine this thing gets as old as Fatalis, and reaches its full potential…
To avoid controversy about Safi’s age:
1. We first encountered Xeno, literally as it was emerging, from the womb. I’d say it’s about a 10-year gap, between the encounter of Xeno, and Safi.
2. Yes, it is *the same dragon.* Xeno can’t die. Xeno is an immortal, among immortals. We never recovered the body, it was slowly regenerating, regaining strength. Until it eventually turned into this beast…
3. After adulthood, Xeno does not age like the others. It is a dragon of pure bio-energy. This means that it can continuously absorb more and more energy, become stronger and stronger. First, an Elder, (Xeno). Second, a Red Dragon, (Safi). And after that, a Black Dragon. The reason i didn’t say finally, is because Safi’s potential can most likely grow, beyond that, of a black dragon.
Would also like to know what would happen if Capcom had the guts to make it attack you while flying instead of making it a 20 minute slay to remove that function. And most importantly there’s a video somewhere (can’t remember name) that there was suppose to be a Arch-Tempered Safi, but sadly that’ll be hiding in the Game’s lost files…
@@arieenglezos-ov3oe people say there was supposed to be AT Safi cause of an unused item "Pure Dracolite" which gives 100 potential points when upgrading, but anything beyond that is speculation as there's no other evidence

@@Frostborne2778 I agree with most of this, but there were multiple Xeno'jiiva cocoons in the Secluded Valley that Alatreon destroyed (+killed), so it's entirely possibly this is a different Xeno.

The first time i heard this theme I started freaking out because I was fully aware of how aggressive he was to his target
Normally he was always going for the chargeblade user all the previous fights, they thought it was great not being chewed on by Safi for once
