You’re spot on with us loosing shape at the end of the matches, was definitely our biggest issue in the CL last year.
Bringing in another winger gives us the room to move Maeda up to striker if needed meaning we would have that "Third striker" role that Vata was meant to take on.

Totally agree. A classy CB beside CCV will go some way to helping us keep our defensive shape at the end of CL games.
