Wonder video of the build and it is a really super nice kit. All the fancy bits in one convenient package!! I loved watching it click, snap, walk and bounce together!! LOL!
Haaah! Sweet thank you! "they" said I was not like the other channels. :). As for the soldering, some patience, practice and some helpful tips from hours of youtube vids :). Thanks mate!
@MauzyrockRC it's definitely entertaining haha looking forward to more vids, & I think it's the solder I have pretty sure it's lead free it and everyone's told me lead free is junk
Noice animations, dude! Wow this buggy should fly with that motor! I don't remember those fiddly bits in my stock TT02 u shaped shaft install!?!?! And was that thick diff oil supplied with the kit? What? - no tyre sniff?!?!? 😅Ahhh, thank goodness you did it! Nobody does a build video like you, top work mate! 😎👊👍
Hey! Yeah in my regular TT02 there where no U shaped shafts and that plate with fiddly bits was not there either... Maybe just the TT02 buggy? Yeah the diff oil was provided thankfully as I only have really thicker stuff for my bigger rigs lol. Oh yes, I had to get the tyre sniff in there, I have to keep my integrity man! Thank you for such kind comment, i appreciate it! Now to wait for this ice age winter to recede... Cheers mate!
That’s going to fly Mauzy! I always wanted one of these but the UK price puts me off it. Maybe one day but my TT02B won’t be far off this once I have finished the mods. Just the steering to work out really 🤔 Maybe I do need one 🤣
“Maybe I do need one” I hear that 😂 I think the B and the BR are similar? Like just the hex screws and some blue bling maybe the difference? Not sure. It was not cheap I will say. I am eager to try it out on some clean non snowy ice ridden ground ;) cheers mate
I'm glad I came across this video. (Your videos fucking cool by the way) I was on the fence about buying the 'BR" variant . But after seeing the many hop-ups that come with the kit, it is a way better value especially if you're coming back to the hobby and starting from scratch. Buying Tamiya Hop-Ups are obscenely expensive and I'm glad I ordered mine. Now Excuse me while I enjoy eating ramen for the next month after splurging for this..... :)
Haah! Eating ramen, there are worst things😹. I recently raced my tt02br and though the surface was slippery, it was such a joy to drive. Yes the hop ups are just enough, not overboard. You are going to love it! Thanks so much!
@@MauzyrockRC doing an awesome job…. I wish I had half of those editing skills….my channel would be less boring for sure!!…😂 keep up the good work brother!
Are the hex head your extras pr have tamiya finally caught up? I know some of their newer kits have started to use them but have they started putting them in the tt02?
@@MauzyrockRC Thanks for your quick reply. I believe the term for them are driveshaft replacement caps, which prolong the life of the drive cups and driveshafts.

Hey it really is a nice kit. Went together pretty fast. I am itching to run it :). I wonder what color to do the body... Thanks dude!
@@MauzyrockRC Purple, silver and blue....

That chassis looks great! Excellent work on the animations!👍😊
Thank you! It does look pretty fun. Unfortunately I have to wait to test it out properly.... Ideally on an indoor track... Glad you enjoyed, cheers
that’s a beast mate 👍 great edit as usual my friend 😊👍
Awesome! I am hoping to try it out in a non blizzard / non 4 feet of snow scenario. Perhaps an indoor track? Thanks so much dude!
This is a great kit! i love mine. Great build video
Hey yeah, I really enjoyed the build ( fast ) and am dying to try it out. Thank you!
Cool stuff man. Always entertaining. :P
Haah! Thanks dude! I gotta have me some good clean fun now and again :)

Hey, I know that the more expensive kits now have hex. My XV02 and this one. They still use JIS screws for the regular kits. Cheers!
@@MauzyrockRC it will be interesting to see what the BT01 come out with. I have the Supra on pre order so looking forward to building it.
Needs more Spock! 😁
Haaah! I am looking for a convertible truck for him to pilot...
What are the U-shaped white plastic bits that fit on the ball ends of the drive shaft?
I think they are guides or shims to keep the shaft from flopping about. I could be wrong.
