    Good morning to you, Plotting WA is true course and speed , hence aspect obtained will be from true course not course over water which is the data what we want, please advise Thank you

    Very helpful but at the very end it's bit confusing . When there is current , why u take AW , why not WA ??

      In reality, the vessel will move in the direction of current and light house will remain stationary
      However, we assumed that the current will cause the lighthouse to move in the direction opposite to current and own vessel will remain stationary for calculation purposes
      Therefore, to find the actual set and drift, we have to reverse WA to AW. Let me know if you need more clarification
