    I was watching Caleb's mysql database in 4-5 years ago. At that time, I was a year 3 student in the unversity, and have no clue about anything related to app develoment, but Caleb just like my database master and his video just helped me build up a foundation slowly but surely. And, today, I have been working in IT industry for almost 2 years and recently, I have asked to handle about database replication and read write spilt issue, those are advanced topicwhich I never touched before. And, I just by chance see this video when I put the keyword on the RUclips search. I am really excited to start this DB clustering jounrey now!! Thanks for always creating such great tutorial!

    Just starting the series, haven't been in the tech field since 2001 so I'm catching up.
    I might shoot you some questions soon that way I can an idea of the software available and beneficial features that best suited for what I want to do.

    Thanks for the video. Let's say your organization has 20+ critical applications and requires high availability(Active/Passive). Would you create one cluster and place all nodes(that serve the 20+ applications ) or would you try and divide it into cluster A, B, C and split the nodes and respective applications between them? What is the best approach, with cost not being a factor.

    Awesome video. Super smart tech guy using a chalk board in 2017? I'm digging the old school meets new school vibe.

    Hi Caleb,
    Could you let me know insertion process is fast with cluster/non cluster index?

    Thanks Caleb for a lovely and informative video. Can you please also use polarizing filter for you camera or change an angle of shooting. Lamp reflecting on a board and some text on it - is not human-readable.

      I'm going to look into the polarized filter. I really appreciate the suggestion. I'll see what I can find.

    Hi, What's up, I'm very beginner at it, do they cluster nodes only have a single database to point to? Because you are talking about storing data in each one, did you mean processing the data in each one? Because I understand the data is stored in a single database, Thanks in advance

    Every one showing mysql clustering on youtube(percona xtradb ,galera,group replication,etc).
    But i want to do simple write and read replicas and also integrate with demo with frontend+backend app!.
    Load balance with all them .
    Can some one show me the demo.Oh i am frustrated.!!!!
    Please give me proper guide someone...

    doesn't the load balancing point contradict the redundancy point? If all data is going to all nodes, what is there to balance? Everything goes to all nodes, not just some data going to the least used node.

    • @UthpalaBandaradoor
      @UthpalaBandaradoor 6 лет назад

      it means balances the instances that comes to a single database spread through other nodes. more instance slows a single database.
