ARE YOU SHITTIN ME? I grew up in the Mad Dogs & Englishmen/Joe Cocker/Beatles/Stones era. I always loved this song. I never thought I'd hear a cover that could do it justice. Respect & Love.

An amazing band paired with an amazing mix. It doesn’t get better than this folks. TTB are keeping great music alive, their mix of r&b and blues is so unique. The soul in their sound is unmatched. Susan Tedeschi is a great writer with an unbelievable voice. Derek Trucks, well, he’s Derek Trucks. The greatest guitarist of this generation, and arguably the greatest living guitarist, never ever fails to disappoint. He’s so technically proficient and has established his unique style, truly amazing. And of course, this husband and wife powerhouse recruited some fantastic musicians to play with them. True music lives people. Listening to the radio, most people are disappointed, as am I. However, all styles and genres have their gems. I’ve only recently discovered TTB and I can’t get enough. Love from Ohio.

If you remember, EC appeared with a lot of the groups and artists to play their music. I'm afraid EC doesn't have the physical strength without pain to do that anymore.

It is interesting and amazing, really, how a few notes of music, in this particular case Chris Stainton's opening piano notes to "Space Captain," the Matthew Moore hit from Cocker's Mad Dogs & Englishmen, can transport us through time to replicate the same emotion and depth of raw AWE we felt when we first heard it, if it is impactful and awesome enough. I'm 61 and the opening piano notes to this song transported me back to age 12 when the Mad Dogs & Englishmen album technically, Joe Cocker's, (but we know it was also Leon's and Friends) dramatically changed the way I looked at music and life. This was mainly due to Leon Russell and his spectacular band he gathered and the work he did arranging Cocker's tour, but Cocker gets some of the cred as a fantastic showman! I still am so grateful to hear Tadeschi Trucks Band so I get all the lyrics for the first time with their version! (Must've been the British accent... ) What changes did one album begin in a 12 year old's life? Musically, I tossed all the bobby sherman posters and archived his records as I wallpapered my room in Leon Russell and friends. Life-wise, I realize the topics of such bubblegum music so popular with my peers were strictly distracting me from growth as a human being and I made a commitment to be more compassionate and look out for my fellow man and woman because "they might be the Prince of Peace returning." (See Leon's blue album "Prince of Peace." Great to see Chris is still trucking and wish I could've seen his face. Love that band! Thank you!

What can you expect from a group of talented musicians such as this?
    Pure pleasure.

Beyoncé is an incredible live performer. Her 2019 live album, ‘Homecoming’, pairs her up with a large piece marching band. There’s a lot going on and respect should be given where deserved and she deserves it. This band though... man... anyone should wish to be in a band like this.

@@cameronstewart8561 What, are you kidding me? She's never ever once been in a band like that. Full tilt, full live rock.
No one is disrespecting her. No one is disrespecting her.
She's literally never played in that environment.
It's no insult. It's just an objective reality.
      And, yeah, that band.....

É impressão ou o tecladista é o mesmo do Mad dogs & Englishmen? Sem ser o Leon Russell, o outro cabeludo que tocava teclado? Bem parecido com ele.
