- My name is Pat. When I'm not playing music, I work part-time as a postman.
That's right - I'm Postman Pat! The other day I was delivering a parcel - I knelt down to write out a card for a customer, and this happened!
It's Postman Pat and his black & white cat... you couldn't make it up....

Hey! So many people have asked this! I'm pretty sure he had a home, he looked happy and well fed! So I couldn't just take him, that would be cat-napping :) I really wanted to though, such a nice cat! Maybe I could just borrow him for a bit...

Ah ah. I'm a postie too, and what frequently happens is that I usually stroke cats on the street, and they start following me, asking for more. Never got one on my back though.
Makes it worth being a postman just for that ;-)

Reminds me of my chunky, tuxedo cat - Bilbo. Very chatty & so good-natured. He was a stray who demanded I adopt him & we had 14 happy years together. This is exactly the sort of thing he'd do!

I'm not a postman but when I was visiting Berkhamsted (London) and was stroking a cute cat in a crouching position it climbed on my not-really-a-lap. Was rather surprised. Aww
"You shall not receive any more mail, humans, for I have captured your postman!" is probably what the cat is saying.

I love this! I adopted two ginger kittens in October 2014, and one of them jumps on my back when I'm leaning forward at my desk, or, yes, even on the toilet! He even walks up and sits on my shoulder like a little parrot! Not only that, my 20-pound, seven-year old tuxedo male, who never jumped on my back before, now copies the kitten and does it on occasion!

I loved this years ago but couldn’t find it again - until now! I especially love that the cat just settles down on the surface of your back and seems to expect it to stay that way for him. “Postman Pat & His Black and White Cat.”

I like this pretty cool. The likes a lot the postman. Because his gentel and understanding knows how to communicate with the pretty cat. And the cat is so loving and love his attention the postman it self is lovable. Knows to communicate to each other. And that time of moment they have a band as like a friend in his back and they do like each other friendship.

Who is man's best friend? Ask a postman. My six cats who started to sit out front with me easily got used to the postman's daily visits. Once they saw me say hello and take mail from him, he was okay with them. He even had to step over one to get to the mailbox one day. Dogs simply can't do that. Even if their owners are standing right there telling them it's okay, they still go nuts. Good Pat, good boy!

I have a lot of encounters with cats! 2 days later, a cat jumped into my van... I filmed it but it wasn't as funny! I might put it online for all the cat fans :)

OMG this is so cute!! One time I had a repairman come to my apartment to fix my dishwasher. My black cat Mack Daddy was super friendly and decided he liked the repairman. He purred, rubbed his head on the guy, "talked" to him in meows and chirps and got into his tool bag and sat there. The guy was stunned. I asked him if he had any pets and he said no, but he had two small children. I said, "Being a dad makes you a good guy. My cat is letting you know!" :-)

I LOVED the video- and the cat- he is adorable- I've got 4 cats and only one of them is like this- sweet and asking for affection and attention- I guess this is love at first sight LOLOL- hope he is going well :) and has owners who love him, at least as much as he loves humans :D
