  • Happy Tuesday Church Family!
Do you remember the day that those words that you were reading in that book called the Bible became alive, and you understood that it wasn’t just a story? What a glorious day that was! The day that you understood that the Bible is God’s way to speak directly to us. The day that you understood that the gospel is real. The day that you realized that the worlds most tragic day, was the day of your redemption.
The Gospel is good news for us, but can be a hard thing to think about. We sent our savior to the cross to die the most gruesome death, just to save us, as sinners, who never deserved to be saved. It is our sins that held Him to that tree, but it was through His love for us that He endured that suffering. We could never repay Him for that.
But isn’t it great to know that the same God that went to the cross for you, is the same God that calls you to Him today? He came to this earth, and changed the course of our history. He gave us freedom from our sins. He gave us freedom from all of our pain and suffering. He gave us freedom from our destiny in hell. He gave us the freedom to spend the rest of our eternity with Him! All He wants in return is for a personal relationship with each and every one of us.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
    -John 3:16-17
This week, we want to challenge you to take time out of your busy life, and thank God for the ultimate sacrifice. If you have already received the gift of salvation, share your knowledge with someone who hasn’t had the opportunity to understand those “Red Letters” and truly understand the depth of the Gospel. Rejoice in Him, and His word.
For this week’s Acoustic Tuesday, we did a cover of “Red Letters” by Crowder. We can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday!
We do not own any rights to this song.
