A Texas-based singer/songwriter known for his wide-ranging fusion of pop, rock, folk, electronic, bluegrass, and hip-hop, David Crowder rose to success in the early 2000s as the leader of the church music group The David Crowder*Band. Over the next decade, the band racked up numerous Dove Awards for their inspirational rock sound, releasing popular albums like Illuminate (2003), Remedy (2007), and Give Us Rest (2012). Rebranding in 2012, simply as Crowder, the singer launched an equally successful, though more stylistically varied, solo career with albums like 2014’s Neon Steeple, 2016’s American Prodigal, and 2018’s I Know A Ghost.

This is literally my testimony. The only thing is I wasn’t on death row. But I was facing 57 years the first time I cried out to God to save me. Not from a long sentence, but from everlasting shame and separation from a God. When I heard how Jesus took my place it broke me. The Gospel sets sinners free, even from behind prison walls. I now live with my believing wife and three believing children. Praise God!

I've been sober for 14 yrs and now 90 days off opoids that I got from legit pain, but soon became addicted. AA has been my saving grace. It bridged a gap between God and I that church never did. It wasn't church's fault, it was MY PRECEPTION of who God is. AA helped me find a REAL AND TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH A GOD OF MY UNDERSTANDING,. who is Jesus. The Trinity. I now am involved in a church that has an addiction support group AND I attend AA everyday. I'll be praying for you!!!!!!

I went to a concert of Crowder a couple years back when he came to town. I never heard of him ( sadly ) prior to it. Man was I floored by the music and performance. Then he did one of the coolest thing I had ever seen at a concert. He walked down in the middle of the crowd with instruments. They asked everyone to come out of the seats to the floor with him and we stood in a circle around him and man was it a holy spirit moving experience.

Interesting fact about Jewish culture, they counted the day of his death as the first day which is why him rising again on a Sunday (two days after he was killed in our culture) was seen as him rising in three days, not two ☺️. Thought this might be helpful

I'm Robert a life time addict my dad got me started at the age of 13 n became worst.. I lost everything even my dad at the age of 21 he was 35.. but my addiction went on n got worst at the age of 35 I decided to quit n three months sober I lost my mind it was gone I was living spiritual and life was nomore.. I spent 2yrs in two different mental homes I was lost always crying out to god.. I started getting my mind back at 37 n got to come home.. there I moved n found my wife which help me find the lord.. I opened my heart to go got saved and baptized I give myself to Jesus n my schizophrenia is gone completely thank you Jesus for finding it in your heart to save me now I'm a Christian n love saying it too.. thank you God for peace n having a wife to walk with God with
