- This is the second part where I compare DBFZ and DBSZ.
Now I included some DBFZ Special Attacks that are Supers in DBSZ.
I love Sparking! Zero so far...

The animations and poses in Fighterz are just fantastic, such a beautiful game.
I really do love Arcsys’s use of animating on 2s and not using tweening in DBFZ (basically the kind of style most people associate with Spider-Verse). It really does give it more of an anime feel not being as smooth, with the exaggerated poses also helping a lot.
I kinda like dbfz more each punch has more impact and the pose is more dynamic with the way the character are bending to exaggerated the pose
Let’s be honest, both are freaking AWESOME!
I love both of them, even if figtherz as a smaller roster (for a good reason)

Fighterz has to be quicker and faster because of the rythm of the game, and shines on details, angles and facial expressions while spz shines on the build up of the attacks, the lights and the effects, but both are nice on their own way
dbfz has faster animations with more dynamic poses while sparking zero has a long buildup with better effects and lightning, in the end both look great in their own way.

I like DBFZ’s lines a lot more in a ton of places. Specifically when characters aren’t as close to the camera, I feel like SZ would really be helped by the lines getting thicker at a distance to maintain the sort of drawn feel, there’s a plenty of spots where they feel a bit too thin.

Sometimes dbfz has better attacks then sparking zero but yeah most of the time sparking zero wins but for hits time skip ult thing I think both are equally good
DBFZ makes this game look so bad in comparison. I get that not every game can do the same visual style as DBFZ so it makes for an unfair comparison. Sparking Zero probably looks better than the previous DB arena fighter, but I can't really tell having not played the previous arena fighter.
DBFZ is way better in my opinion. But both are very nice. I love these two an i keep playing thes game at the same time

It's not lmao. It's just a fighting game with DB characters. Sparking Zero is superior overall because it actually has more or less everything. Good offline and online makes a whole game, Fighterz has only good online.
@@Anonymous-gq7ho WRONG sparking zero and bt are a dime a dozen arena fighters. It only has superior fanservice and offline experience everything else is factually worse than dbfz all fluff no substance

Some animations in sz just look goofy (and the voice acting feels a little lifeless)
Why are some moves beams and not projectiles in SZ? Like Big bang attack or Bardock's ball thingie
I was surprised too. The javelin became a beam where as it's a projectile

I was thinking "Why compare it with FighterZ when Sparking Zero is a successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi series" (other than it being the most recent DBZ game) and then I remember the sheer amount of characters in BT3... Yeah, picking FighterZ was the right call...

I didn't know DBS Broly had 2 different ultimates.
It depends on if when you clash with the opponent you are next to a wall or not. Neat detail and I'm impressed they pulled something like that.

The sound effects are terrible on SB, the camera angles also look just bad xD, really lack impact on punches, almost like they cannot show a body bending because a stomach punch or something, yamcha bouncing like a doll on explosions is really funny hahaha
Yeah, the sound design is definitely lacking in spots. Like, even ignoring the use of unfitting sounds in spots… it’s just not mixed very well at times? Like 5:59, Hit’s attacks are so quiet compared to his voice, not the mention the non-sound the explosion got, just making them louder would help so much.
It also lacks special moves you can regularly use for combos. Many moves got turned into ultimates

Yup, game feels good to play (other than the horrific camera), but damn is the animation/sound design depertment lacking.
Wacky camera work, choppy, not smooth at all animations on literally every super/intro I've seen so far, zero impactfulness, weird movements...
The visual/graphic design carries HARD, they really cooked on that end at least.
Stop bitching this is game of the YEAR as an arena fighter with 180 chars compared to fighterz smaller roster STFU

It is very unfortunate that a game with 24 starting characters has a quality quite similar to another that has 182 characters. FighterZ is overrated and protected by the video game press, the reality is that it is a good fighting video game, but a terrible Dragon Ball video game.
Sparking Zero looks A LOT better.
