You got the PE90? Very nice. I was planning on getting one of those as well but it got sold out when I got around to it. FYI, the gun is very soft shooting and has slightly better accuracy than my other 5.56 guns, able to do around 1.3-1.8MOA 10rd groups at 100 yards, iron sights only.
@@Laguna2013 Sold out in the Spring last year as part of a limited run. SAN Swiss Arms takes a long time to get guns in but they are really nice. You can still order Sig 553s but the wait times were 3-6 months before the pandemic. I have no idea what the wait would be now. ATF Form 6 was just approved on the PE90s a week or so ago, so the whole batch should be coming in pretty soon.
@@bretak74 Very nice! Mine should be here this week as well. I did hear that the stocks and magazine restock was delayed until next month due to COVID in Switzerland. I don't mind the wait though.
Yeah, it has been my holy grail rifle for a very long time and I was fortunate enough to get 2 of these. I will definitely be shooting a ton through this one. Yes, it has been 100% with Geco 223, Geco M193, Norma 223, Magtech 77gr, PineValley 77gr, and ADI 69gr. It prefers Geco 223, Norma 223, and PineValley 77gr, capable of 1.3-1.5MOA 10rd group at 100 yards using iron sights.
Very cool, I was one of the first to get the SAN 550s and have a PE 90 on the way! Did you check your barrel yet it seems the first group with the SAN 550s got Blaser Sig barrels And the second group you got Hammerli barrels.
@@williamhedrick7983 Yeah, both of my has the Hammerli stamp on it. From the info I found on SwissRifle forum, a Swiss member mentioned the barrels are all forged the same (rifling/bore geometry) at SIG and sometimes they either finish/profile the barrels themselves or distributed to different companies to profile the barrels. I'd like to see what the PE90s look like since there isn't much info on how they will look on the new batch that is coming in this month. Apparently the only difference is the marking and the deep green furniture. Have you shot your SG550?
There’s a few of us online that think it’s a possibility because of the demise of sigsauer Germany something may have happened with Blaser providing barrels for military style firearms...So it is believed that they are using the Hammerli barrels, of course this is all based on assumption but I think has some pretty good backing... I have not shot my 550 yet and Word has it that the PE 90s will not have any different color than the latest Reddit 550s. I have shot my 553 short barrel, long barrel and 553R once I get my PE 90 I do plan on shooting the 550!
i did serve with the sig550 in the swiss army and believe me you dont need an extended mag release. the standard release is big enough for even using it with winter gloves.
Well the last of them has been imported... 2021 will be parts kits only . However, If you can find someone willing to give there’s up you were going to pay between $6800-$10,000 for the new production JDI imports. Used PE 90s without the stock are going for about $6800.00 but they look pretty beat up. Good luck, they are amazing firearms
Love it! I had a feeling you’d have one. Keep making vids bro, I look forward to em.
Thanks man, I will try to make vids, but a lot of the time we were too busy having fun at the range and forget to film anything.
@@Cubic_3 Understandable lol, That’s a good problem to have!
Highest quality military rifle ever produced.
Actually a ak but better
I clicked immediately when I got the notification. It's got me even more excited for mine coming in next month. Beautiful rifle!

I am late to see this clearly. Where did you get yours please?

Nice!!!
Glad to see some people shooting theirs!
I’m assuming it ran 100%, what ammo were you guys using?

Are the U.S imports all 1:7 twist?
Hey there nice video.
I want to ask is there any extended mag release for this rifle.
Thank you
I don't think I've ever seen an extended mag release on a SG55x series rifle. Doesn't mean it doesn't exists though.

I ask for extended mag release for droping faster the mag.
That’s a lot of money right there...
Well not initially but once they hit the hands of the end-user, yes... I have seen current production 550s go between $7500 and over $10,000.

@@williamhedrick7983 Crazy to think they go for that much better off buying from JDI much cheaper.
@Xyooj outdoor Knowing how the gun market is its gonna cost you a lot. More then double what you would pay if you went to JDI.
Jealous!
Nice!
