Can you upload traditional village houses with two slanting roofs. I am trying to get an idea to build a small house in my village in Matara. I have asked one architect draw a house plan. But his designs do not fit with my imagination of old village homes with two roofs , varandha and stoep.
hello very interesting video, unfortunately I do not understand anything. I start a project in Sri Lanka in about 2 years. i am trying to build a fully autonomous and sustainable house. So traditional architecture is important to me. Traditional materials in construction, Modern technology in the ground. My goal is to be independent from water, electricity, sewage. With 12V DC technology and 2 water tanks in the ground, the waste water is purified with microorganisms to drinking water. With waste and compost gas for cooking or mobility ( TukTuk ) is guaranteed. Where can I find young architects who are interested in such a project in Sri Lanka?
