I love the Queues at this park and how the coasters are right above you the whole time. Adds to the intensity and anticipation! Definitely adding this park to my bucket list!

I can see why Alton Towers gets the title of being the best UK theme park! Even though you couldn't film the haunted houses, you did such a great job explaining your experience that I could envision it! I also love the Alton castle. It's charm is stunning, it's hard to describe the beauty of this place!
Wow..just Wow. What more can I say except take me with you next time! I'll hide in a suitcase Lol! I've said it before, but Alton Towers is such a beautiful and awesome looking park. The rides and attractions are probably some of the most unique and well themed I've seen. One of these days I hope to get there, especially during the spooky season! I think you probably picked the best day of the year for this visit to Alton Towers. Early October is the best time to do Scarefest (it gets much busier closer to Halloween) and you also had beautiful weather. Great video! ❤
I think so too! We went on the Friday opening night, and I showed at the end of thr hotel video how by Saturday morning it was already so much busier, with the lobby jammed full and long lines of cars driving in, plus it was cold, gray and rainy! So we got the lower crowds and the amazing weather! So grateful for that, bc I expected opening night to be crazy but it was lovely.

You got so lucky with the weather. If only US theme parks could be situated in such beautiful setting. It looks like a day out just walking around the park looking at scenery and buildings. I sometimes do miss living in the UK
I know, we got SO SO lucky!! I just edited the Alton Towers hotel vid that will be out tomorrow, and on that morning, it was freezing cold, gray and raining. Still beautiful in its own way, but would have made the day a lot harder and less comfortable. Very grateful we had nice weather to make the day so much smoother.

This park looks so fun! I've seen clips of the park from UK vloggers, but you went into so much more detail as you're seeing it for the first time. Those haunts where people can touch you? OMG I'm not sure I could do that! Thanks for sharing.
It’s very tame at Scarefest compared to the physical contact at some of the independent UK haunts. Some events literally tie people up or get them on the ground, or in some cases shave people’s eye brows off.
I miss Alton Towers, I used to go every year but I haven't been back in about 17 years. It's so expensive now compared to the late 90s/early 00s but it's still such a great park.
Wait, I just found out this isn't London. it's 150 miles north of London and south of Manchester by 40 miles so cool I get to go on another trip and have your share your first time seeing news things I love traveling with you Jackie and I'm always super excited for what's to come @Super Enthused ❤

I LOOOOOVE that the UK theme parks are doing this now with the fun ride videos, I wish the US parks would start doing it! I know Disney has started doing it with a few rides like TRON and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Some do some don’t I’ve got to say the ones that just stand there are the most creepy to me , oppositely my only gripe with Universal HHN in 23 was, don’t get me wrong now , the houses where brilliant beyond belief, but by the end the jump scares were a bit repetitive .I assumed they didn’t touch you because of Covid
@@richardcook9794Not all UK scare attractions have “touching”, some use very effective jump scares without touching etc. Then there’s others which are very hands on.
Really hope you do Thorpe Park! Compound is in a similar building and layout to Survival Games, but SG doesn't rely on strobes. It sounds like it's right up your alley!
The houses actually sound better than HHN, or more immersive at least. Defo a Disney Princess, even UK squirrels appear for you😂 Still so much left to do too. Is the runaway mine train still there? I haven't been for over 15 years, I'm 140 miles away and weirdly find it harder to get to than WDW😂 Looking forward to the rest of your adventures in Blighty And yeah the attached bottle caps are weird, keep it to the side and push it down as far as it will go so it doesn't jab you in the cheek😅
