Honestly, I’ve been looking and watching for days for transferring a picture onto canvas/wood/ or tiles, I didn’t see any of them explaining everything like you do, you are quick and straight to the point, your videos are not boring at all, I am following you… Thank you very much for all the valuable information🙏🙏💕
TY for the craft - a- long video. I appreciate that you took the time to redo this video. I will be doing this pretty quick. Blessings y'all. It's really lovely and turned out beautiful. I'll be watching video 3 aka 2nd video lol😍😍
Your videos are very well explained, not everyone will understand, no matter how much you explain. I really appreciate your showing us how to do this. I just spent so much money on two photos that I sent off to have them on canvas. I’m going to try this, wish me luck.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been wanting to try this and I have a daughter that is getting married so I think this would be a great gift! Don't worry about the people who makes the rude comments, there will always be someone complaining, you can't make everyone happy .
Hello, I cannot wait to do this project for my wedding. I do this same technique on tiles and make coasters. Thank you so much for sharing. Never thought to do this. I was actually going to have them made at Costco. Again thank you for sharing. :)
Hi Diane Just wondering have you ever done a Canvas with different size of photos cut up and put them together ? I like to also wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
Good morning Sodany21 :) No I have not - but that would be a great collage to put together :) The process will be the same. Modge Podge the canvas so that the photos will stick to it. Then once dry apply a thin layer of the same modge podge on top and spray with clear acrylic spray to protect it. :) Thank you and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well .... :)
Being it’s on photo paper in your opinion how does it look in person as opposed to just putting it in a frame under glass. They look wonderful by the way and Thank you, Bob
I love his video! My wonderful and beautiful daughter in law made me one and it is on my office wall and I look at it all the time. : ) I can't wait to give this a go by myself. And look at you…You Look ADORABLE and so healthy. Love it, Love it, Love it!!! I hope you are feeling well.
Thank you so much for your sweet words. :-) Making your own canvas is so easy -- you must have a sweet DiL to make you a very special gift. ;) --- Have a great Memorial Day weekend Miss LaGaringer ... and keep making those Uke videos -- you are so very talented!
Hi there, I want to compliment you on how I enjoyed your tutorial. You explained everything perfectly. I was just wondering if this process would work with posters, I have a couple that I want to have matted and framed but this can be very costly. What are your thoughts?
+Debi Giddings Aloha Debbie --- absolutely -- i actually have some posters for my son's room that i have been wanting to frame --- this is basically a process of decoupaging and the mod lodge protects it as well as adheres to the canvas or wood or other type of material :) I bought large canvas at michael's during their 70% off sale :) Good luck ...Diane
Thank you so much Diane. I think you used Gloss Mod podge right ? I can't tell you how much I LOVE your videos. I watched again and again ..may be until I get to make one soon. Best Wishes Maria
Thank you for watching Maria :-) Yes I used Gloss but Matte is perfectly fine to use as well. --- it's so very easy to make. If you are afraid - start with a smaller canvas --- really cute to place on a metal photo frame holder on a desk at home or work. You are too sweet. :)
Thank you so much for the video. Do you print the photo in gloss or Matt finish? Which type of Mod Podge you used to cover the top finish of the photo ? You are very talented. ..i can't wait to make one for my daughter .
I always print with matte finish at Costco. And I used the same Modge Podge for the first and top coats. I hope this helps. :-) Once you start making one then you won't be able to stop. :-) Have a great weekend. ...diane
Hi! I have been thinking about doing a collection of pictures that I have of my daughter and my husband and I all in canvas. At first, I wanted to just get every single picture frame in black or any traditional frame color. But I really like canvas and I want to know if it last longer with time or the other way around. What do you think>
Isabel Castaneda Aloha Isabel ... The first canvas I did of my children was 3 years ago ... I wipe it down with a damp cloth to clean the surface .. until now it has not faded ... I am still happy with it :-) The traditional black and white with frames is also nice throughout the home. I say mix it with canvas and frames to give it a nice variety ... :) Mahalo ..Diane
Hi thanks for the great tutorial. I'm wanting to try different sized photos onto a canvas with a large photo in the centre and smaller sized photos surrounding it. My canvas is quite large however it has a wood cross support at the back of it. Would this come through the photos ? especially the one in the centre? Would appreciate your input thanks. :)
Aloha Stancie -- Sounds like an amazing project in the making :) This is not a "photo transfer" so there would not be an issue with the wood bracket showing trough from the back. The thickness of the printed photo will be sufficient to cover it up :) This photo that I did on this tutorial is still in my daughters room to this day --- just seal it with a clear sealer to make it last. I hope this helps. *****
Hey! Loved the video. I have this doubt though. I read in Amazon reviews that you should only use Mod Podge image transfer medium for using on a canvas. But I've already bought the matte finish one and I just wanted to make sure if it'll work too.
did you use laser printing or regular printing because I was told that If you just go print a picture from Walmart etc....that it wouldn't work I'm really wanting to do one of these for my mom for mothers day
wow your photos are so nice that they look wonderful on the canvas mines don't look that nice haha. but great tutorial.! so much better then the others where you have to wet and rub the paper away.
At least the rub away ones, look like a real photo on canvas. This is just a photo glued to canvas, with no canvas texture. What's the point, if you don't see the texture? This is just stupid, to praise anyone, for doing nothing.
Thank you for a tutorial one question if my do a smaller portion on canvas middle section with picture and only mud pudge on center would I be able to have people write around it is it possible you think the area were no mudge pudge was place? Thanks
I don't have a cotsco near me:( every place I've gone to, to print my picture Is over $30 for ONE print in a 16 x 20! Ive tried staples, walgreens and my local printing areas. I already bought my canvas but the picture printing is so pricey! Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I'm telling them to use the wrong paper?
You are by far the BEST video on this process. Your daughters are beautiful, can tell they take after you! Thank you!

+ASimplySimpleLife also the Polyurethane fills the pores so no bacteria enters. This helps preserve the painting or transfer in our case.

can you see the canvas texture when using a photograph vs an ink jet print on copy paper?

i also have the same question.
In the video she stated that she had it printed at kinko's
@@chickencoop4439 the video said she had it printed at Costco. I don't know what Kinko's is.
@@karenvella2727 Kinko's is an office supply retail store, much like Staples or Office Max.
@@chickencoop4439 I didn't know how to reply. Thank you. I've never heard of Kinko's, but we have the other two stores.
Hi...I love your tutorial...Do you think I can do it straight on my wall instead of on a canvas???
Have you ever wrapped the photo around the edges?
Can I please have a detailed list of What I need and the web sites From where you bought canvas, please?

I already bought my canvas but the picture printing is so pricey! Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I'm telling them to use the wrong paper?
I am a Sam's Club member and they allow you the option to ship it to your home. I paid $5.96 for a 16x20. I picked it up but it can be shipped to you.
try snapfish dot com. their poster sized prints were only $6 the last time I looked.
Respect ma'am, please mention the product you have used in the transformation

Whats the use of using Canvas when entire surface is covered with photo. Instead we can use cardboard for this project !!
Awesome! Beautiful girls💕
People are just ugly you have beautiful daughters. How would that person know if it is fake or not they are just nasty miserable people
Best DIY canvas i ever seen very informative what kind of glue are you using?
love this video and how your canvas turned out😍. If you dont mind me asking what kind of camera/lens do have/use for takin pictures

My daughter paid. A lot for her canvas picture of her wedding at the beach.she’s gonna be stoak! When I show her this.
You have a beautiful family
You said the print cost $5.99 but I'm looking it up & it says it $37.99 ??
Same here. Where in the world do you get it from for only 5.99??????
Costco has it for $5.99 :)
+ASimplySimpleLife Okay but doesn't that mean that I would need a Costco membership? That's just the same if not more money
do i need the costco membership to get the same price?
the lazer print or ink jet print
Either one will work just fine :)
Aw you’ve got wonderful children
Kinko prints for $5.99, nice, cheaper than Walmart
Winner wish i had a kinkos Walmart cost almost $13.00 for the 16x20 but Walmart photo paper lasts forever
Bless her she’s so out of breath xx
Pretty girls you are very talented
Thankyou.
Focos the materials pls
