It was fun helping shoot this video with you guys. I have rode both boards many times but I would personally choose the bamboo because of the flex and the range you can get out of it.
Just brought the mighty fluxmotion AT2 ……omg how does Frederick do it it’s awesome ride so many sweet moments trucks take awhile to get a used to but once you tune them this board will certainly look after you it’s loves to be pushed and the craftsmanship there is no faults at all the board to look at is a masterpiece plus it’s a sweet ride
@@esk8unity Eovan are getting a lot of love at the moment. Carbon pro has 850wh battery which answers your at needs. Be nice to see how you think it stacks up....
@@markrobbins3357 i agree 100%. i jus personally wish the deck wasnt soo long and it didnt have the hump in the middle (according to rama) i also hope its possible to put on true street wheels on the board. (which im sure it can be done) i MIGHT do the eovan VS the Trx 2.0.. theres also two new onsra boards coming
Good review I got my evolve same time as you and love it but there have been competitors enter the market... would the motor upgrade help with the top speed?
from what i hear, the motors have been upgraded for the new evolve dropping.. however the ONLY time i have had a motor problem was when i was doing donuts on the astroturf field. which would over heat with ALL the evolve competitors if u do the same. Keep in mind, evolve will never go for TopSpeed. They are about the endless wave and quality. however if you go on board bumpers.com you can get 23t or 29t and go a little faster..the vestar blackhawk, verreal Rs, wowgoat2, ownboard at, all seem to have better “specs” but only out perform in top speed. i THINK the only REAL competition is the onsra, the atlas, and the eovan. which have the advantage due to timing. evolve will have something better too. same with Onsra. im super siked for both. especially onsra 🕺🏼🤙🏼👌🏼
Sick carving love your guys riding style just like me got the gtr and the carve 2 just ordered 100mm boa's can't wait they look good on the carve ,I wish I had some carving buddies lol not alot of people around here that want to spend that kind of money on boards lol
Onsra with a flexy deck and the acceleration would be awesome! Or evolve with a 12S battery and better motor controller. I hope Fabi does a flexy deck/ battery/ enclosure. 30mph should be a minimum with where the tech is these days. Of course anything extra is greatly appreciated! Would love to try the Onsra with a third party 32T or 23T gear even. Change the motor gear to a 20 and wonder, could be hitting 40mph+? I'm guessing.
i actually might try the onsra with a 29t. im sure the new evolve with drop a 12s. the new black carve will too.. black carve only has a bit of flexibility, but idk if i seen a 12s flex deck. thats tough..
@@esk8unity haha sweet! Let us know what you get with the 29T. Might also be worth changing the gear on the motor itself to a 20T. Could be interesting! Yeah I assume Evolve will drop a 12S flexy. Maybe a slightly longer deck, it's only 2 packs longer than their current flex. Hopefully they'll get a safer motor controller too or I'm out.
Hey man! Zach from Madison Wisconsin here! Not too many esk8 riders here yet, but I have hopes there will be more since we have the most bike lanes per street. I just got done talking to you on Instagram live. Nice ride on the Enskate! For the next video maybe do a video with the Miles Phantom, I think that is a board with new technology in it. Not sure what other board is in its caliber for that kind of style for the versus video. Keep shredding homies!
Whoever is riding in the intro can shred!! So sick!I love that Onsra. I want to try their direct drive version. Never ridden a direct drive before and am curious to see how they feel. Been looking at the revel kit too.

Ownboard W2 Pro. Wowgo AT street setup (with correct pulley tooth count as we discussed) comparison to those two or as stand alone review (also with the new AT wheels 👌)
@@esk8unity the AT's together would make a good comparison. But thing you can make a great video on just the Wowgo AT2 with the new wheels and possible street setup 🔥. Yeah think so too, W2 Pro has more to offer than most think 😲
yea def more flexy than both boards. but in a different way too.. the backfire has great acceleration. probably a tad bit better than the onsra. however, if u do 45t pully with the onsra, it should be about the same. If u havent bought a new board yet, id HIGHLY recommend getting a Black Carve 2. i can get ya 10% off if u wanna dm me.. @esk8boyz

You obviously know a lot about this.Nice, to the point and openminded bringing up differences both bad and good without ego is much appreciated.Do you guys have any thoughts about the Onsra board with direct drive motors? Thanks
i personally dont like airless rubber wheels.. i dont really look for “comfort” when riding.. i look for dynamic style riding.. smaller street wheels for me are best cuz it keeps in tune and most control of the board. street wheels also maximize power and range.. aireless rubber kills range. so ifffff u wanna go for comfort, jus do 6” pneumatics. jus my opinion
Looks like you set up the wheels in the remote wrong (causes a distance or range calculation error) 3:30 . It says 107mm and 32t, the stock Evolve wheels are 97mm with stock pulley of 32t. The mileage on your remote probably not accurate. I ride a GTX with ABEC 107mm and 32t pulley and loved it but I get an mile or two extra with my stock 97mm and 32t pulley
i put on 107mm with 32t cuz i was using 32t but with 100mm but there is no 100mm selection. so IF anything, it might underestimate the miles. but even then, i think it doesn’t matter. it only matters with the speed accuracy, not range
@@esk8unity Thanks for the clarification and reasoning behind it. Maybe for future range tests, with other boards use a GPS based app on phone (Not the trash Evolve app). I don't trust readouts on the remote even with the correct wheel and pulley set-up personally
I want to see you DIY a board. 2k will build you a board that gets 20miles range or more and 46mph+ I can prove this if needed. An before you say I dont need a board that fast. diy is cool. not really my thing.. why would i dump money into such a impressive top speed board if i dnt wanna go that fast. which i dnt. top speed isnt really my thing. to be honest, neither is machanical labor work. so if something goes wrong, where do i go for repairs? id rather buy and ride .. lol. but much respect for the diy community
@@esk8unity Where do you go for repairs, you DIY.... The only reason I DIY now is because boosted went under and have no more support. So when that day comes, you will be throwing out your old boards and buying new ones or you can diy and prevent that from ever happening. You can gear it slower, its not about speed as stated above. You dont have to pin it. An if you dont you may get 40 miles range. Im not saying build a speed board but your argument about how to fix it is going to come down to what I said above. Unless some company gets so big it passes down the name to others along the way, still I would not expect backwards compatibility forever. Or maybe Im just have no idea what Im saying and did not have a boosted.
Dont fear DIY embrace it! Its also very nice to know your board in and out. You feel safer and really understand what the board is doing. Im not suggesting making batteries but you can. I just think the whole diy process is so gosh damn easy, I see no need for anyone to pay the prices for these board company's that may not last. Not going to lie, but wife is building one.
