Mr. Saadi, Good to know how to subract area of the openings. However in pricing a job, normally we don't deduct these openings. These opening area compensates for the extra work needed around these openings By the way is this software available in Pakistan and if so from where. Thanks Nasir Ohio USA

Hello, I'm using Planswift for villa quantity estimation, and the imported tiff is a little blurry even at 400+ dpi. Snapping is also not an option. This will result in a variation in accuracy. Cad import is not an option because using too many drawings will result in a crash. How does planswift perform in terms of quantity estimation software? Is it only for small building plans? Or any other method to achieve autocad measurement accuracy. Ps. I have watched your video of pdf to tiff
Please assist in the above matter. Since I've started using planswift for all of my estimates. Accuracy is my primary concern as I continue to learn and improve. Is there any doubt in my question? I can go into more detail.
Dear Rakshith, PlanSwift Software has been used in a wide range of large development projects, including airports, Expo 2020, infrastructure, and many others. I am sure you can assume the size of their project & drawings. Can you tell me which version are you using right now?
@@SaadyChohan Mr. Saady Chohan That sounds fantastic. I'm running version 10.3. My concern is how to achieve accuracy without snapping (in tiff). If I use a PDF, it may lag depending on the number of drawings or the size of the PDF, correct?

Block work is usually calculated in Cft./cu.m while you have calculated in Sft. my question is can I add a third property of "door/window thickness" to make it a Cft. value to be deducted from Cft value of Block work? its ok right?

Sir I use both metric and imperial to work with depending on the project so should I change the units in advanced tab every single time when I switch to metric of imperial?

Good to know how to subract area of the openings. However in pricing a job, normally we don't deduct these openings. These opening area compensates for the extra work needed around these openings

If by mistakenly overwrite the planswift file with existing planswift job, how to recover it?
There will be less chances to recover but you can try from backend.
C Drive > Program File > PlanSwift > Data > Storage > Local > Jobs

i hope you are good.Can we use the template link to other template like if we are masonry template link the door ,window and ventilator so , we are one time takeoff Quantity door and window and the doors, window template takeoff of the area x thickness we get the volume which subtract the masonry volume. now the time first time takeoff the for the masonry and secondly make the schedule of doors , window ,ventilaor seperately . which is 2 time working.if have any solution?🙂

Hello, I'm using Planswift for villa quantity estimation, and the imported tiff is a little blurry even at 400+ dpi. Snapping is also not an option. This will result in a variation in accuracy. Cad import is not an option because using too many drawings will result in a crash. How does planswift perform in terms of quantity estimation software? Is it only for small building plans? Or any other method to achieve autocad measurement accuracy.
Ps. I have watched your video of pdf to tiff
Please assist in the above matter. Since I've started using planswift for all of my estimates. Accuracy is my primary concern as I continue to learn and improve. Is there any doubt in my question? I can go into more detail.

PlanSwift Software has been used in a wide range of large development projects, including airports, Expo 2020, infrastructure, and many others. I am sure you can assume the size of their project & drawings.

My concern is how to achieve accuracy without snapping (in tiff).
If I use a PDF, it may lag depending on the number of drawings or the size of the PDF, correct?
PlanSwift offer you the maximum accuracy but it depends on the drawing you are dealing with. Send me the PDF file through LinkedIn. I will check and try to offer you a solution.

Its recommended to follow instructions and create template. It will help you to learn and create more in future.
Block work is usually calculated in Cft./cu.m while you have calculated in Sft. my question is can I add a third property of "door/window thickness" to make it a Cft. value to be deducted from Cft value of Block work? its ok right?
Dear, we don't get the quantity based on "usually".
We get the Quantity Takeoff & follow the unit which are defined by Rules of Measurement / Standard / Principle.
