I'm actually really impressed that they're able to produce this thing with a power supply and all those bits for $7. But that doesn't mean it's worth buying. Reminds me of the cheap ones my girlfriend buys for her fingernail care.
You could set the motor in a model boat with a thru hull strut , the shaft in the boat would chuck up in the dremel too ,l MAYBE it would push the boat ......
Never buy junk, the dremel is the best, like j.b weld to fix tough repairs. Weak drills can be used to drill holes in pcb's for components to fit. Or use a hand drill (the type with two cogs) for slow control. There was a brand in the uk called Blackspur, what a load of Sh.. poo lol. There drill bits were soft and just made a mess.
BTW My DREMEL comes with the same different sized COLLETS. Thats so you can use larger and smaller diameter drills, disks, buffers etc. Thats actually a good thing. But I agree I bought one like 20 years ago and it didn't even work.
... it's ALWAYS the case, you get what you pay for ... Chinese love us ... greedy and impressionable ... looking for a bargain when there isn't one ...
I made a video like this once (not on this name)... Same outcome... At least one person had to say something in the comments about why I compared something name brand vs. cheap, and if you treat the cheap tools nicely - they'll perform just as well, if not better than the name brand. Uhm, no. I for one like these videos as they inform the average Joe / Jane that cheap isn't always the answer.
You could hop it up with an RC car racing motor of the same size. Would be the same voltage or higher with lots more power. That is if the chuck end could be successfully swapped from the old motor shaft to the new one.

The Bauer cordless is 👍 i got it for 29.99.
Might be able to make a decent prison tattoo rig out of the thing ?
I have a real dremel and it saved me on lots of projects with eccentric modifications needed. I've never been to harbor freight and less likely now.
lol, agreed!
Rather Curious,
How Do you Really Feel on this item.
lol, best I've ever used
ITs works for fine detailed work, not for sawing 1/2 inch boards in half !
That thing is only good for polishing fingernails
I have to disagree. It has done so much for my hobbies. Ive done so much with it.
12 volts, 0.5 amps... it is just 6 watts!
Oh no you bought a cheap tool and it didn't perform like a regular brand.
What's your point? Are you shaming the creator for making this video?
