Robinson says that he has not been charged with a crime and is being held inside Calgary for an unknown period of time. But what happened? Did he not fill out his visa application correctly or is the Canadian government trying to silence his Canadian speaking tour?

We visit family in Canada and you do need a visa. It's normally filled on the flight. This persecution of Tommy is utterly disgusting. When the UK & Canada allow in & actively encourage foreign criminals to come here & be catered to, they stop a man trying to expose these monsters, he is silenced by the cowards in power!! This is an outrage!
They don't need a visa, but for citizens of countries where one is not required, there is an online form called an Electronic Travel Authorization that costs $7 and should be completed before any flights are even booked. It seems like a lot of countries are starting to do this - probably to expedite entry at border points.
