You make it look so smooth and easy. I just want to quit playing this game. The Play Now Online opponents be killing me and my shots don't fall even if I'm wide open. The shot meter be so close to the line for green but it still misses. This game is too hard for me. Current gen PS4 by the way. Thanks again.
It says “hold y or triangle to get man to cut”; however I try this and it just does lob passes. I can hold it for as long as I want, and it doesn’t work: I’m trying to get the rebounds challenge. Getting them to cut first is easiest.

It's possibly because you don't have your icon passing on full Receiver control. And your receiver control on Handoff/pitchpass. If your confused just go to 1:13

For the give & go, you can throw an alley oop pass by holding the pass button and tap square (ps)/A (xbox) when the player is close to the basket. It's recommended to use someone who's good at catching alley-oops and it's so overpowered but for receiver control, I don't think there's a method.
Default is just gonna pass it when you press the icon. And for defense it's honestly different each game. I gauge my opponent and play based on that. And alot of manual switching around
These tutorial are truly next level. Great video. My only complaint is that I’m playing on next gen and it seems that back door cuts have been removed entirely. Which I guess is a little more realistic, but now I’m wishing I hadn’t relied on it so much in past years. (Icon passing still works but simply holding triangle is soooo much faster.) Can players sprint during icon passing?
I've found this tutorial really useful because these moves are great against off-ballers, and they can become overpowered if you combine them with a good freelance or playbook. Big thanks for the clear explaination, and I think 2K tutorial videos should be more popular like in other sports games.

Hey is that true? Backdoor cuts don’t work on next gen? Im trying and it’s not working for me either
@@nicodotwav yes unfortunately back door cuts are gone. Smart plays are also gone. For me the game feels like I have less control over the offense.
full receiver control doesnt work for me
Go to controller settings and set icon passing to 'full receiver control' and it's recommended to set skip pass to 'disabled'.
