This music video is a compilation of various flipnotes from many creators from the Flipnote Hatena community. All flipnotes used in this video are from 2008-2013. Some creators will be updated later in the credits as it's difficult to find who made what with some of the methods used to retrieve these flipnotes. Please understand that almost all of the animation was not done by me or my friends. We only implemented the lyrics. I have a massive amount of respect for the animators who made these flipnotes.

I hope you all enjoyed, this one comes from deep in my childhood.
As someone that grew up on flipnote studio on my dsi, I didn't interact with the flipnote hatena community in the 2 years before it shut down as I was very young. As I look back now, flipnote animations give me so much nostalgia to when I was young.
This is so beautiful. I'm so honored to be part of this community, I feel almost small in comparison to the huge amount of creative talent and love that goes around

That "doesn't nostalgia suck" line really got me. Even though I never had a dsi or even experienced flipnotes, I still managed to create some 'animations' from my childhood through the power of PowerPoint. So I can somewhat understand the feelings expressed in this song❤

It's amazing how many people still remember Flipnote and hold it so dear even after 10 years of it being long gone. I've seen a lot of stuff celebrating it's legacy over the past year or so and it's all been great, but I gotta say this might be the best one yet. Amazingly done, a true bittersweet love letter to a one of a kind app.
i never knew flipnote existed till a few months ago thanks to CS Ghost, but i can feel the emotions and nostalgia in this. rip flipnote.

I didn't have a phone or computer back then, but I did have my trusty DSI. I still remember late school nights looking at all the amv's, bombastic stick fights, star beggars, random trends with copied animations, and even random comics like bamboo blossom. I was mostly a viewer back then, but I loved how magical it was making a simple doodle come to life with each new added frame. But one day, like the rest of you, I found a piece of my life that I had grown accustomed to taken away from me. That really sucked. There would be no more featured stuff, and all the things I was following would be stopping there. But what could we do? Life moves on. And there would always be new communities popping up, and and falling down like crumbling stars. I'm glad I was there to experience my share of that magic.
I literally met my husband on hatena way way back, I'm living with him right now as I type this, we both watched and cried over this beautiful and sad song, I never thought I could cry happy and sad tears at the same time.
Who ever made this needs to get paid so good bc this is childhood but sadly I never had Flipnote Hantrna but I had Flipnote on my DSi XL 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
