Thanks for watching Kat 🤗
What's the app you're writing in to? I've just consolidated some credit cards into a Natwest balance transfer credit card but instead of paying it full each month, I'm paying the minimum then putting £150 into my 8% regular savers so the money gain interest and will then use it to pay off the card when it's full enough.
🤯
Shame you can't consolidate. It might be worth speaking to other banks. My natwest one had 0% balance transfer fee too.
Good luck. 👍
Correct 8% is woth nationwide
Hiya, I'm using a digital planner that I purchased. The reason I've not shared it is because I've heard that it's a planner belonging to someone else who was copied. I'm currently investigating this.
My natwest credit card is the one with £5k+ balance. That's a great idea. I love putting aside money in my 6% savings account as well.
I'm using over 50% of my credit utilisation, so there are no balance transfer offers available to me at the moment. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. 🩷
Merge your cards together ( credit cards ) your paying it off but most will be taken in intrest going on 4ever
Hi Carol, I'm not eligible for a balance transfer at the moment. Thanks for the tip. I'll be on the look out incase anything shows up. 🩷
Have you tried the company Fluid to merge your credit? My bank was wanting all sorts of information for the loan of 2k so I politely declined (have banked with them for 29 years!) whereas Fluid accepted me straight away
also, if it is ok to ask what do you think is your main reason for the credit card debt? Is it for certain types of expenses or just general, and built up over time?
I feel for you as you are paying several hundred pounds towards those debts every month - it may be worth contacting Citizens Advice online chat or by phone to see if they can get any of the interest frozen for you or any of the debt written off….worth the ask. I know they have really been able to help some people I know - Citizens Advice have trained paid debt advisers so they do know their stuff and will help you for free 😊
@Victoria-kl7su never heard of fluid. Looked it 6 it was a credit card. Most of my debt is 0% at the moment, so I don't want to open any more lines of credit 🩷
@Victoria-kl7su credit card debt is a mixture of different expenses.
I'll get debt free. Citizens' advice often recommends IVA, etc. I'll get there, thanks for the advice. Appreciate it 🩷
