Thanks a lot for this valuable information. I found out a lot of great advices for my next Topographical Control in skycrapers, thanks and congratulations!
I have a question about total station setup on a high rise. Once the screen walls are up, and the tower crane is tied in, how would you set up a total station on a plywood deck? Also the core does not go up until the day after the deck pour. So mounting to the core is out of the question.
We have placed plywood around a column cage with truck straps to stabilize the cage and used a SECO column clamp instrument holder. The work deck is at the top of the screen so the targets that we have placed on other buildings can be seen over the top of the screen for resection.

we appreciate your valuable advanced knowledge, would you also help us to know much on advanced surveying for twisted high rise?
thank you so much
Love yalls videos - can you show how you layout anchor bolts and embeds?
Brilliant!
How would you transfer your control as you go up in order to layout gridlines?
