- In this video, we tell you everything there's to know about the upcoming 2024 Tata Harrier EV that was showcased to media at the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Expo. Since it was a pre-production model, it gave us a fair idea as to how the final model would look. This will be the second or the third EV to be launched on the company's acti.EV platform. Since it's a scalable platform, it can spawn cars from 3.8-metres (Punch) to 4.6 metres (Harrier/Safari). The same platform will also be used for the Sierra EV. While the company hasn't officially announced its launch timeline, our sources in the company tell us that it would take place right before this year's Diwali festive season.

This is why I rate Mahindra over Tata. They know the core technical know how of a dedicated SUV. Look at their portfolio Diesel, Petrol, AT, MT, 4x4, AWD, RWD,dedicated low range tranfer case,MLD, BLD,BoF, monocoque everything is there. Their mechanicals are also robust & reliable.

@@U30Torq09 😂😂 Sales doesn't justify how good or bad the product is. There are many cases like Maruti Khizashi, SX4, OG GV, Etios Cross & many more. And one more thing XUV 7OO sells more than Harrier,Safari combined.

@@chandradattakar9311 in real world, in market, there is no good or bad product. its about good or bad pricing. Its about the complete package. What mahindra lacks is an in house R&D team which can make vehicles other than BOF. They have 1 product in their lineup- XUV300 (and 400) which is monocoque which is basically from Ssangyong. Even their upcoming EV is in collaboration with VAG group. Even if these products are great they wont be able to bring the prices down unless they stop taking products from outside. If they dont sell well they cant make great products for long. This is not sustainable. If you take pricing out of the equation i would rate mahindra's product over TATA. But pricing is the common denominator which a prospective buyer sorts through before buying. I want both the brands to invest heavily in their R&D.

Bhai I own tiago JTP and let me tell you TATA just can't deal with engine electronics. They can't diagnose at their ASC either. Khud PhD karna padega if you get a bad car. Lovely designs but they're not reliable Bhai. Hybrid tata will be suicide.

I ll like to hear from companies about problem in battery after 2 years ... range goes down drastically from 250 to 100km in summer ...this isn't a nice experience when driving on highways. My friend has nexon ev so every 100km we have to find charging station or hotel.

Because it is a different platform. Technically this car is not even a Harrier. If is not same as Harrier ICE like the Nexon pair.

For actual 1000 km the claimed range would be 1500, and that would come with 1.5cr tag, and keep another 60 lacs in spare if battery goes bad after 5-6 years.
