It’s so refreshing to stumble upon your channel. People who wear glasses are so accustomed to high street opticians and forget about the wonders of personal customised glasses. My wife is looking annoyed at me because she knows o eager to get a pair of glasses even if I have to travel from Liverpool
Hi Murray Always was in awe of of your beautiful locations . Very much appreciate you taking time to show all the behind scenes between shoots . I was aware of how much you must be putting in to get out these videos out. Now I do know. Thanks Vinod
Love the cartiers, just bought some Gucci rimless with a brown photochromic lense as it was closer to my budget but one day I’ll visit the spectacle factory and start my cartier collection
I'm going to buy a new pair every year, I'll start off with the light tinted transitions. Then move on to the photo chromatic combos you were showing.. great vid as usual.
What tint and lens type would u recommend for engineers that look at cable colors and do quality inspections indoors? Without affecting accuracy of results but wanting a light tint that’s appropriate for work indoors. But also want sunglasses outdoors. 😂
I have quite a lot of zeiss lens with various tints etc. Do i need to store them in a dry cabinet? I have dry cabinet for my camera gears etc but wondering if i need to do the same for eyewear. They aren't glass material
Hi Robert. Greetings from Costa Rica! I loved the Tejesta Shiprock you were wearing. Do You have them in stock? I am interested in prescription lenses with gray tint.
8:20 What brand of glass is used here? Is this allso from Zeiss? Nice video by the way! Maybe you should make a video about the old Cartier models like the Sandos Vendome models (A view to a kill, Wallstreet etc.)
hi how can i connect with you. any email address you have? i have the fred and cartier frame i wanna know how much d u charge if i wanna customize the lens without sending you the frame. i can send you the dimensions and A and B size
It’s okay to engrave your glasses guys lol he makes it sound so bad . I have a pair of diamond cut with The Cartier print as well as my initials lol trust me you can’t go wrong with customization, especially if someone tries to steal your frames .
there are actually cartier authorized labs that make authentic lenses, at least in North America. if an optical store is doing them in house and putting the cartier logo, then that makes them "fake" lenses.
@@maliekmiles4627 the lenses itself aren't made by cartier itself, they're made by zeiss if im not mistaken. The only "authentic" factor is cartier saying these guys can put the engraving on the lenses. and they use the highest quality lenses usually trivex for the rimless.
@@maliekmiles4627 yeah but when they put the cartier logo themselves a lot of them be looking janky. and thats when its a problem. Look at vintage Julz, his cartier script be looking funky as hell.

Awesome! We'd love to work on them for you
Good video. I like the exposed screws. I am surprised that we don't see that more in frame design.
Awesome!
These glasses are so classy!
I think so too!
Cedar wood lovely. Rectangular lense shape, green photochromic with bronze flash coating ,would look superb. Thank you.

Hey Robert, great video, what's the base percentage tint on the blue and beyond?
About 15%

what material are the cut lenses made out of? is it glass or tampered glass so they dont scratch as easy?
Do you supply Tejesta now??
Are those green adaptive sun lenses on the woods from cartier? Or did you make those and add a darker tint to them?
You guys do ice cartiers?
Always illuminating

Can you do more vids on the non-rimless Cartiers? Thanks!!
Hi Robert,
What’s the difference between the Zeiss grey and black colour in light tint options?
Grey is slightly blue
Hi Robert, please do a similar video on the Cartier acetates!
I don't know if I will, but I'm sure they'll get a feature here and there.
Is cartieer has it titanium fancy frames?
Wearing a Cartier Tank while reviewing Cartier specs. Nice one mate
Well spotted 😉
edging on MEIs or?
What are the price ranges of the sunglasses you showed us, if I could get a rough idea please
The bare frames are all like 1200$ and up. I’m curious to how much the custom lenses are though
Does zeiss smartlife have enough hardness to make rimless glasses? Buy 1.60 or 1.69 zeiss smartlife for rimless glasses?
Can you tint zeiss lenses?
Yep!
how thick would be -4,5 Cartier Big Cs with 1.74 index? i would love to have them as thin as possible
I'm sure we could make them look amazing for you.

Who makes those funky pink and blue photochromic? Those don’t look like zeiss colors.
They aren't. These are specialised monomers that are only available through niche labs

It would be nice to have a female co-presenter so we can hear and see about the more feminine frames out there.
I'm always asking females to get involved, but they are all too shy
