- Full performance of Keep It Coming Love, Shake Your Booty, That's The Way (I Like It) medley of hits by KC & The Sunshine Band featuring founder Harry Wayne Casey was live in concert on A Capitol Fourth, Washington, DC, USA Independence Day, July 4, 2015.
The disco/funk band had six top 10 singles, five number-one singles and a number two single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during the Seventies. Named after the founder and their home Sunshine state of Florida, KC and the Sunshine Band continues to actively perform in 2022.
Disco is alive and well in 2022. Genre mainstays KC and The Sunshine Band are still “gettin’ down tonight” and every other night on their brief tour this year. The group is excited to get back out on the road to shake their groove things too. They shared on Instagram that there’s “no better feeling than getting to play for you all again.”
Following KC and the Sunshine Band’s short headlining run, they’ll serve as the support act for The B-52s’ Farewell Tour. They recently appeared at the Los Angeles County Fair in May 2022. Upcoming concert events:
