My first twin engine plane. I went straight to floats with it. I can’t say enough good things about the design and ease to fly. The AS3X I’ll give all the credit to for it still being in one piece after 6 months. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one to experience it with wheels. (You really don’t want to switch out the plane from floats to wheels to floats. The money spent compared to the time spent switching back and forth was well worth it) I can’t think of one thing I could complain about with the Otter BNF. It’s just fun, easy to fly.

I don't mind a long video especially when I'd enjoy your level of detail!

I really appreciate all of the attention to detail and seeing all of the stuff that people want to know about! If it makes the video go on a lil longet than most so what! Also if this plane is made out of EPO regular CA works just fine. I prefer thick CA on my stuff as of late. Anyway good stuff!! Keep up the good work!!

Nice Video. It looks like no differential thrust, but I guess one could setup separate ESCs into separate ports and mix in radio.

Are there different propellers available for this kit. I personally don't care for the striped propeller blades. Great video thanks for sharing.

Great content as usual but a quick question off topic here, any chance you could tell me/us what that table is all about please,is it to do with the hobby or is it just a table you use to put your models on,i ask because i saw the wires coming out of it. 😉

Your videos are simply AWESOME. Which planes would you recommended for a beginner? I plan on really getting back into RC after so many, many years away from the hobby. I am more interested in BNF models. Also can you give me some tips on a great radio that I should purchase. Keep in mind I plan on stay in the hobby quite some time so I want a radio that I can grow with and add planes that I can grow into as well. I really really enjoy your videos. They really inspire me to become an RC pilot again. In your videos you really break things down to the least common denominator which is important to the novice pilot. The pandemic has really put a damper on getting into RC flying. I was looking forward to joining a club in my area and plan on checking out several clubs in my area but the pandemic got in the way. It appears that things are opening up again and maybe I can pursue looking at RC clubs again. Thanks again for the great videos I am a subscriber and I will keep watching.

When you were binding the airplane with your 2200 in there was that where you had it when you flew it

Did they fix the molding issue it had on the tail with the horizontal stabilizer not being able to function properly because some material needed to be removed in order for the elevator to have full movement?

Mine is the latest from Horizon... I just got it. I has an addendum with some changes in it. Mine assembled perfectly. They clearly made some changes to the tail & It assembled fine and the movement seems normal... As you could see from the flight videos it flies really nicely:) If you get one please consider using my links to purchase in the description below the video. Thanks for the support!

So the transmitter says 6+... does this mean the Dx6e would be suitable for it? I believe so but just want to be 110% sure as I would be looking to buy that and the plane. Will go with an easier first flyer but if I buy that transmitter for the future, this is the plane I want to make sure works with it. Looking to use your link for the helpful vids, pls let me know if I need a diff radio for full functionality with this. Thanks

On page 10 of the assembly of the otter, it talks about dual rates and control throws. I have a DX6e, setting up my otter but I can’t find this in the function list. Can you help?

These are not supersonic...fly them as they are intended to be flown....and lose the headbanger noise...IFY...waterproof the plywood the main gear mount if you are going to fly the float version...
