  • Today i ride the 2022 Beta 200rr enduro motorcycle from italy. This bike does just about everything well! If you guys have any questions about it feel free to let me know!
    Also, the crappy turning radius has NOT been fixed on this bike. This thing does not turn very sharp. So, thats the only negative i can really think of.

      Agreed! It’s an absolute blast to ride! I have driven the 300rr and it’s a great bike as well, but I find the lighter weight 200rr with it’s awesome torque makes it little more fun/flickable! You won’t regret it. Enjoy and ride safe! 👊🤙

      I would be too, I’m 60 and have been riding Mx bikes since I was 10 and I’m looking for a lightweight, street legal dirt bike . My son rides the 300 rr race and loves it so this might be the bike for me?

      @@powerwagon3731 I am 42 and have been riding MX since I was 5. My body has been through the ringer riding but I still do it and enjoy it! I am 155lbs and the 200rr is an absolute woods weapon when it comes to gnarley single track riding. It reminds me of an updated version of my 95 KDX 200. I really enjoyed the 300rr but it made me more of a lazy rider…which I don’t enjoy. I think if your 190-200lbs or lighter the 200rr is the way to go. Any heavier than that I would recommend the 300rr. Just my two cents!

    I just purchased this bike for my wife, she is converting to 2 stroke. THIS IS THE UNICORN OF TRAIL BIKES. Good power, light, nimble, awesome suspension. And for beginners, you have the map switch to tone down the power. We were on the fence with the Husky 150 and KTM 150, but no regrets with the BETA so far. I'm 6 feet, 230lbs, and I instantly felt comfortable on this bike, especially while standing. This will be a good backup bike for me if my wife doesn't go :)

    Great footage man. What amazing trails - you're lucky! I think the 200 is the perfect Goldilocks capacity. Super nimble, light and zesty with enough low down torque. 300s are so flat and feel heavy, I'm not fan. Very tempted by one of these. Beta make a great product.

    I’m a little over 20 hours into my 200rr. I installed battlecross x31 tires a few hours ago and it made such a difference. The Maxxis front tire would deflect off any little root and the rear would get hung up on a wet fallen branch. I don’t even think about the roots now.

    "04 200 sx rider here. its my cousin old race bike with 250 peripherals (carb, pipe and radiator) hi comp piston. ported cyl and slaves racing suspension front and back. Absolute monster of a bike
    200 is without a doubt my favorite bike ive ever ridden
    pipey like a 125 yet has arm ripping torque like a 250, but as soon as you pass 8k it falls off. a gentle reminder you dont need 9K-11K rpm on the trail or else youll fling it off a cliff.
    it really feels like 7/8ths of a 300
    nimble, mountains of torque, but just enough to were you feel like a speed demon yet safe unlike the 250t or 450f deathmachines riding trails.
    perfect bike for a vet, beginner stepping up to the big bores and everyone in-between. truly an impeccable bike

Also, curious what sort of fuel range you are getting on this 200 with the stock tank? How does the bike do on hill climbs, do you feel at any point that power is an issue? Again, awesome review!

    Good review - I remember trying out your brother's in the parking lot and I was blown away by the torque. Great bike!! Does it fall off quickly once you hit top? I remember on my Beta 300 RE, I would top out and it would fade, kind of took the thrill out of it. Tempted by the light weight but I may be pushing it at being 200 lbs. Maybe a 250?

    • @RacerRed
      @RacerRed  2 года назад

      I think you would be happy with a 250. The 200 doesn't fall off at all. It has really nice over-rev. A 250 would still be playful but would also have the grunt you would want being at the 200lb mark. The 200 would be a ton of fun too, and would carry you around no problem, but i think you might get tired of using the clutch so much.

    Excellent video, some really sick drone footage. Keep up the great work. Will definitely subscribe. Question for you, I'm a older lazier rider who currently rides a 2018 Beta RR-S 390 Love the torque of that motor but the weight (280 lbs wet) kind of wears me out. Do you think adding a heavier flywheel to this RR200 would tame the big hit on top and make it feel more torquey? With my 390 I'm always in the wrong gear and it doesn't really matter. Meaning I will take a grunty motor over a screamer any day. What do you think? It can be done or that would ruin the bike? Or should I just get a Beta X-Trainer?

    Thanks for your input, but how does the suspension compares to the xplor forks, is it better for the average rider in your opinion?
    I rode xplors and they feels bouncy and less stable compared to my KYBs
    Currently on 250 beta re and to switch to 300 rr 22 model

    • @RacerRed
      @RacerRed  2 года назад +1

      Suspension is so subjective. It depends on the rider, but I will say that I don’t like how the xplor forks feel under heavy braking. They seem to twist, which causes the front end to dive.The Beta forks felt really good in the amount of time I rode with them.

Is the Xtainer's suspension really as bad as I've read? It's luggabilty entices me, but a good supension here in the east (roots, rock, ruts) maybe more importanrt? Hate to buy new db then have to start sinking $$$ fork & shock. Would appreciate your thoughts.

      XTrainer for sure. I've had both, and at your weight the xt suspension is not really an issue. I've got 25 lbs on you and the only time is was an issue for me was when the speed picked up. I ride in the Northeast woods where the pace is slower and that's where it excels. The 200rr is a great bike and a lot of fun, but the XT is easier to ride and more beginner friendly. If you ride more open, fast and flowy trails, then I would say the 200rr.

One of my bikes is a 2019 300 XCW TPI, it runs absolutely perfect and has since day one. I've never kicked started it, not once (even though it has a kick starter on it).
