  • This is the Deebot T20 OMNI from Ecovacs. It has the world's first hot water mop cleaning base station, plus auto-empty, and two-in-one robot vacuum with spinning mops. Big thanks to Ecovacs for sponsoring this product showcasing.

I bought the ECOVACS T20 OMNI, and what really caught my attention was the hot water cleaning feature for the mop. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my floors are getting a deep clean

My question is, can this robot heat the mop or does it just rinse it with warm water and clean it afterwards? My assumption is that the mop rinsed with warm water is cold after 2 minutes and then the mopping is less effective.

Can robot be schedule run with different mode? Like I like to schedule to clean room A in 9am with "Vacuum only" and then 2pm Mop only or Vacuum then Mop mode? Or the Mode as shown would affect the whole robot operation for ad-hoc run and scheduled run?

I've been using it for a week now, and so far, no issues have occurred. I change the water twice a week, and when I come back home, the floor is very clean:)

I have a question, as i understood, the robot itself, doesn't have a buit-in water tank, so i guess the mops are getting wet just before starting to work and not constantly during working. What i want to know if the mops aren't getting dry too quickly

This unit is missing a self cleaning or user cleanable docking tray. After awhile the area where the robot docs gets very dirty. Other units either self wash the station or have a removable tray that can be removed and cleaned.

My concern is it has no on board water tank like the x1 omni. How frequently does it return to clean the mop and empty the bin? I have heard every 10 minutes. Is this correct or is it adjustable in the settings of the app? Hard to believe it can clean for 10 minutes without the mop becoming dry and less effective.

I just purchased my T20 three days ago.
You can set it to automatically clean the mops every 6, 10, or 15 minutes during a mopping cycle. Or you can do it manually when you choose.

Just bought this and I’m a bit worried that all the reviews I’ve seen are sponsored. Not sure if I should cancel the order and order the dreams L10S. Can you let me know what your unsponsored opinion on that?

Return it. The app sucks, the navigation sucks, there’s always a lot of problems with ecovacs products. I advise you to read on the subreddit, then reconsider the purchase…

I've bought one and I'm trying to return it. If you have two or more floors in your house, then you're screwed, as the mopping keeps wanting to go back to the base. Its clearance sucks too. Navigation is not brilliant, I've seen better on my other robots I've had that were half the price. It uses far too much water, constantly cleaning the pads, even if you just have it vacuuming, it will still go and clean the pads after. The app is badly arranged and confusing. Could go on, but Ecovacs haven't responded to my return request and I am thinking of just returning back to Roborock.

Looks promising. How does this compare to the Roborock S7/S8?

1:25 that looks "promising" to you? Wet pads rubbing all across the carpet. Maybe its promising for some mold buildup

@@MaxCaud it lifts higher than any other robot vacuum. If you have long pile carpet shown on this clip then you are not going to be better off with any other current duel mop/vacuum robot.

@@MaxCaud I mean look at that carpet. The carpet is pretty thick and if your carpet is too thick, you could easily just remove the carpet and put it back down when the mop is finished. That’s a work of 1 minute.
