Hey Jason, I'm so glad you visited the Süleymaniye Mosque because most of the tourists visit just Blue mosque but Süleymaniye really has a special and peaceful soul and it is my favorite mosque in istanbul too. Have a nice trip :))
The grand bazaar is alluring. There are thousands of shops that you would have never seen like this. I travelled all around Balkans and sad to see that almost 5000 bazaars, mosques, bridges and old day hostels were destroyed by people so it is sad for their historic harmony. If you go to istanbul the grand bazaar is a must seen. Thanks for the viedo Jason, great job👍
Istanbul is the most fascinating and beautiful city I have ever visited. All the beautiful mosques and architecture. A must see for any traveler, especially western people. The Grand Bazaar is fabulous. Shopping on steroids. Better than Dubai.
You should visit Bursa, too. It is the most historical city after Istanbul in Turkey. And the Bursa’s cuisine is amazing. I hope you can visit. Your channel is amazing, I love watching people who visits foreign places. I think you are so lucky, because as a Turkish person I have never visit my hometown that much. I hope your channel gets bigger and bigger.✌🏻✌🏻👍👍👍
I was born in Istanbul. My ancestors to a great extent was also born in Istanbul. I live in Asian side. But for the freaking three years time I never had the chance to step on this area. I am about to burst into tears for that lovely city of Istanbul. I hope I will go there anytime soon. 13 minutes is never enough for my city of Istanbul by the way. should be hours...
Jason, Suleymaniye is one of the best choices to feel the real spiritual tone of mosques. I can say that, Suleymaniye is my favorite in İstanbul, too. And probably most of the Turkish people also. :) Good trips, video is so nice!
Thank you for this nice video. The bazaar is more expensive than the other parts of Istanbul . In my opinion you pay for the experience that you see when you buy something.
Fun fact: I believe it's the Suleymaniye mosque that owns most of the Spice Bazaar. All vendors pay rent to the mosque which is then used for the mosque's maintenance and upgrades. My tour guide told me this 😃
Istanbul is the most expensive in turkey because its most popular amongst the tourists. And turks in bazaars especially know immediately who is turkish and who isnt and they will charge you for goods accordingly. So make sure to bargain cheaper with them since chances are they are overcharging you
Hi Billam,I've been gone through many of your videos. But a question is always roam in my mind and that is how do you make money for travel? Please make a short video how you make money.Hope that will be beneficial for every one out here :) Happy Travelling! 🌏
Will address this in my next Q&A video or when I get round to doing a live stream. The short answer is RUclips ad revenue, sponsorships, and saving money on accommodation by giving shout outs to hotels/hostels. Hope this helps!
I like to go there but current pandemic situation don't allow me to go.... hopeless totally 😒. Through your vlogs atleast get the test of milk in yogurt. Thank you so much Jason for makin interesting vlogs.
It's so nice to see this videos from you! I would definetly recommend Beşiktaş-Ortaköy for beatiful view and for street food. It's called 'Kumpir' you should have taste it.Then you can use boat from Beşiktaş to Kadıköy for nice short boat trip 🤗😊
Hi! What kind of internet connection did you use in Turkey: mobile phone or portable wifi? And did you buy a Turkish phone card for your mobile? How expensive are they? I want to plan a trip to Turkey and that's why I ask you so many questions, sorry! Thank you so much! Greetings from Romania!
Hey, I used a SIM card and if I remember correctly it wasn't too expensive for a month - you can go with either Turk Telecom or Vodafone. All hotels will have WiFi.
Istanbul is one of the most interesting city in the world for me. I just love the city. Old and new. Every time I'm there, that is almost every two monts , I found something new and taste some new tasty food. Amazing! People are very warm and you realy can buy everythink. I'm always filling like I'm in the story of 1001 night🙂🙂.I hardly wait to come back.
As well as the big four (Aya Sofya, Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar), leave enough time to explore the other sights. Although many tourist attractions are located in, or near, the old city district of Sultanahmet, there is a dazzling array of other things to do throughout the further reaches of the city.
of course turistic market places are expensive,.. and u did buy with most expensive price yes!.. ^^ eeheheheh but it's ok ur money is about 7 turkish liras,.. :P and u are so adorable I can't stop watching your videos... :D
