Society is full of tension because the indigenous culture is being supressed , you cant have your cultural celebrations and festivals because they "offend" people who have come here. This is wrong. Hi, Eastern European here. I can’t comprehend why local people who are in need of help are not prioritized in their own country. Why GB and Ireland accept more refugees than they can afford. I am an immigrant myself but I worked hard to get a degree, I work and pay taxes, and I respect local laws. It’s just surprising for me how some ppl abuse the system. I’ve met refugees who speak English and could find a job but they prefer to live on the government support money and not look for a job.

Just look at the Quality of Life for Britians today versus 40 years ago before all these immigrants came. Wasn't Britain better off then? Didn't Britians have a higher Quality of Life then? Poverty is higher in today's Britain. If immigrants improved Britain then poverty would be lower, not higher today. Quality of Life in Britain would be higher, not lower. Medical care would be better, not worse. Unemployment would be lower, not higher. By what metric does anyone say Britain is better off with all these immigrants? Only the rich are better off, the rest of Britain is worse. Too many people is what makes the 3rd world poor. It will make Britain the same way. You can see the decline in Britain with your own eyes. Britain is better for the rich, yes, but not better for Britain's workers who compete with these immigrants. The workers are poorer and worse off by all economic metrics you can use. More poverty, less quality healthcare, lower life expectancy, and the kids today will have it even worse when they've grown up. If you don't get rid of the immigrant population they will take over the country and make it as poor as Inda, and Africa. Overpopulation destroys economic prosperity, it is as simple as that. Bringing immigrants in when Britians have no job, and live on the street is as stupid as it gets. Give the jobs to unemployed Britains, train them to do it if you must. Give the homes to homeless Britains. The government of Britain was created to provide for the Health, Safety, and the General Welfare of the British People, not of foreigners. If we had PR Reform would have something like 90 seats, not 2 or 3. Imagine what a difference that could make to the country. Labour would only have 220 or there about and no overall majority. They would be forced to work with the other parties and we would have a parliament that actually reflected what the people voted for, not the corrupt super majority we have now.
I spent the bulk of my childhood, from 7 to 17, in the 1970s. It was like a different country back then: social cohesion, shared culture, values and traditions, as well as a sense of homogeneity. Left the UK 12 years ago.....and have never once been back. Would be afraid to go now for a visit there. That place is gone.... got some great memories, but all from the time when illegal immigration was not allowed.

Hi, Eastern European here. I can’t comprehend why local people who are in need of help are not prioritized in their own country. Why GB and Ireland accept more refugees than they can afford. I am an immigrant myself but I worked hard to get a degree, I work and pay taxes, and I respect local laws. It’s just surprising for me how some ppl abuse the system. I’ve met refugees who speak English and could find a job but they prefer to live on the government support money and not look for a job.

I agree with the British people when they say they don't recognize their country...immigration would be fine if it were controlled and genuine migrants adapted to the English way of life and not want the English to adapt to their religions and way of life. I also find it absolutely disgusting that British homeless citizens are left out in the cold (literally). Why are the illegal migrants given hotel accommodation, meals, money etc when the British homeless are ignored by the government!!

I am native american and Welsh. I hold 3 citizenships. We go back to Wales to visit nearly every year to visit family. I spent the bulk of my childhood, from 7 to 17, in the 1970s. It was like a different country back then: social cohesion, shared culture, values and traditions, as well as a sense of homogeneity. Left the UK 12 years ago.....and have never once been back. Would be afraid to go now for a visit there. That place is gone.... got some great memories, but all from the time when illegal immigration was not allowed.

I left 11 years ago but do visit family in Blackpool.....the town is now no long the same and it happened in a little over 10 years. The country is gone and London,s white population is now a minority....the capital of the country.
