I agree with samurai1331. The Philippine Anthem is much more march and stately like. Compared to the United States, the Japan national anthem compares more with 'God Bless America' or 'America the Beautiful' whereas 'Lupang Hinirang' compares more with 'The Star Spangled Banner'. The components my comparison is based on are mood, tempi, legatto vs detached articulation, and stately characteristics.

I could only hope that our nations would recognize and learn from this event and realize the effects of foreign affairs. I am just grateful that I came across your message and see that there are Americans out there that has acknowledged their government's wrongdoing.
