Yes keep it coming. Content perfect, length is expeditious, entertainment value? Immeasurable😊
As a fellow apartment dweller, I loved the cast iron on the grill hack! Definitely gonna do that next time we make burgers! I like how you're trying out new themes each week. Battle of the Bites is a keeper!
Hey Atlas. Yeah dude searing outside is a gamechanger. I'm experimenting with a few new series ideas. I'm glad you like this one.
@@AdamWitt it gets it the worst taste in my opinion. Smashburger built their reputation on doing what you should never do to a burger in my opinion. You see when you smash a burger you're also losing a lot of the juices and flavors. That's been a practice brewburgers for years not to smash them. I've been skeptical of them before I even ever tried them but eventually I actually did try them. What I thought would be the issue with those Burgers ended up being exactly that. I've had a Smashburger they are lacking in the flavors they're nowhere near as juicy as they claim. Someone likes it I would say they should try different Burgers just to see for themselves. However if they ultimately like it good for them they can like what they want. However being a Texan you're supposed to cook a burger I have found it is never a good idea to smash them the reputation on doing what is it good for a burger.
@@AdamWitt and in reality places really don't last long anyways we had a Smashburgers I ate there once didn't like it and it's now closed down
@@higurashianduminekoconnect1702 go cry about it
@@kailynx2295 now if you can leave me alone your comment was unwarranted LOL and go look for someone else to try to bully people into accepting the lie that your opinion is the only opinion ever allowed and the only opinion that is right let's see how far that gets you with everybody else too
Thanks for this video. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make a smash burger myself and yours looked amazing.
I’ve made plenty of burgers in my life especially BBQ. Recently I stumbled on the smash burger recipe and I’m totally hooked. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say it’s my favourite type of burger. I laughed when you said lazy way to describe the smash burger but you’re absolutely correct I couldn’t agree more. It does have that classic restaurant taste and even the feel of it. Heck I’ve even wrapped it in parchment paper to really go for the fast food vibe. I’ve made it for several people and get compliments like you wouldn’t believe. Best part is you can make it at home and it’s super simple. A little prep work but so worth it. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Educational : Entertainment ratio is spot on. What I would have liked more?
Going deeper on the meat grinding portion of the video. Different cuts, ratios, variations, etc
Anyway, smashable vid fo sho
Thanks for this 👍🏼
Smash burgers are peak burger form. Nothing else comes close especially homemade.
I disagree I think they lack the juice in flavor because of the Smashing process they go through in fact back in the day they said never to do that skeptic before I tried them I felt validated that's exactly what I thought it felt like it didn't have as much flavor must not been the only one because it closed down within a year
"Push your meat into the mold."
"Never been a bottomings guy."
Whats going on in *here* ?
Bro you have the best lingo lmfao, Chunk master flex. I talk like this all the time in the kitchen and no one else gets it.
THANK YOU FOR TOASTING THE BUNS
Came here to say the same

Ohhhhhhhhh yeah brother! Gotta love some burgers, and I totally agree, if I'm out and gonna drop some bucks on a burger, it's probably gonna be a 1/4-1/2lb big boy with some nice toppings. Gotta love the options at Grill'em All in Alhambra!
Nice video Adam! I feel there isn't as much content on the trusty steakhouse burger with all the rage around smashburgers, but maybe I should try some of those! By the way, I think when you squeezed the burgers you were expecting them to be more moist, right? So was I, what's up with that? Did they turn out leaner then you thought when you ground the meat?
Thanks man. Yeah, the steakhouse is definitely underrepresented in the burgersphere. Hmm, if I had to guess, it was because they weren't hot off the grill. The patties and buns cooled down a bit by the time I shot that scene so... I'll do better next time! Lol.
I loved this video. And now want many burger. Lol.
Ayy yes the Mondo burger from "The Good Burger"
Welcome to good burger, home of the good burger, can I take your order!?!?

I think I'm team Smash Burger
He has the eyes of MrBeast
Why did you waste a sheet of parchment paper? Just pull the paper off with your spatula and move to second patty.
Hm.... not that different: fine or medium fine minced
brb, I can't get through this video hungry
It's best watched Burger in Hand.
i had some fried rice so im good
also, smash burgers ftw
Smesh
Yo, bro, let's get smashed!
Honestly I don't understand whole idea about smashing the burgers that actually makes it less juicy that's flavor in fact that used to be the rule of thumb when making burgers Smashburgers before and I walked out feeling validated smashing the burgers it was a No-No for a reason
okay mr beast
Team smash.
Smash 🤘
You lost me with the Kraft singles. Pure shite!
You should not be promoting rare burgers as there is bacteria on the surface cuts of meat and can cause food poisoning. Steak is different, searing the meat kills the surface bacteria.
This makes no sense. Did he not sear both sides of the steak burger? Lol
That's not enough pink for bacteria to exist most restaurants have that level of pink
Medium rare for steaks, medium for burgers
