It is supposed to be faster on bad roads. But then again rims are getting wider and tyres will have to get even wider to compensate for that. Why would a 60 kg rider need a 30mm tyre on smooth road going uphill? It is certainly not lighter. Or does it have to do with the disc brakes in the descent? many questions
28c is the standard of today. I have 28, 30 and 32c tires in different bikes. Stay with 28c for speed. 30 and 32c is for distance riding amd non-racing. I feel a bit of loss in speed with 32c. For steep descents having wider tires is great for grip and control.

No. That idiot didn't properly align his disc's. It should only rub on tight corners if you do hard braking. Straight line or climbing should be silent.

I simply can’t justify it.
With anabolics you get next day noticeable muscle growth. People comment. You can justify it. I’m not a pro so can’t justify EPO. No brands are expecting me to win any KOM or race etc. Cookie man is paid on his performances. I’m not. I still get paid first or last place.
