@illogicalman21 Yah not sure how I feel about either. S and F are my favorite in general so I'm happy to see them win, but I also love fresh moves and flashiness in competitions. I guess these judges put a premium on cleanliness, connection, and musicality. Most of the other couples did look a little rehearsed.

I feel like at this level of competition, the scoring just seems arbitrary. Everyone is so awesome, how could there be a winner? Other than us; we win by watching.

how are all swing dancers attractive people?
Converse shoes are highly flexible and comfortable to do swivels, and are great to land aerials. Heel shoes are prone to breaking and injuries (yourself or others) - they are mostly used for West Coast Swing, and running shoes are less flexible and look unattractive. My best bet, anyway (lindy dancer for over a year)
