Just discovered your channel and I really enjoy your style and humor. You have a very bright future so keep at it!!! One suggestion is that when review different IEM's always compare them to the same price range IEMs. For instance, when you did the video on the ThieAudio 2, you mentally judged them to $500 IEMs (Moondrop Variations) not the Moondrop Aria which is in the same price range. Other than that keep at it and again I really enjoy your natural presence and humor!
The Moondrop Variations is honestly a very detailed pair! As long as your DAC is resolving enough you should hear a great ton :) Also, glad to see you in the comment section again :)
Sub bass or mid bass, choose your drug. But what to do when we want as much kick drum presence and sub bass line? Moondrop still have to work on this mystery! Great review as always mate!
Outright favorite of the 3 where the price is of no concern: FiR M5. Holocene and Variations are around the same ball park, between the 2, you are right i prefer the Holocene and it has a better balance between outright details and enjoyment. If I just want to listen to details, I'd go with the Variations :)
Thanks again for stopping by!
I hope you enjoyed this weeks video! Do let me know what's your favorite daily driver now at the moment!
The Variation showed me a lot about music and about IEM's..... I have very expensive units and always end up listening to The Variations !!!

Hi Shawn,
I can't do it without you.
Those are in the works :) Will be featured under a under $XXX video haha.
Perhaps try to mute the audio of the Zoom In shots of the IEMs, I think it would be better. Great video! Can't afford this model haha
Does Camp Fire H slam and thump?
The Holocene, does it in a Balanced Armature kind of way. It does not slam as hard as a DD but still good!
A much needed video 😊
Thinking of the Moondrop Variations 🤔
Great review and break down.
Cheers 🍻

The Moondrop Variation is great, if one likes the strong focus on sub-bass.
Absolutely! I enjoyed it for the sub bass where it is impactful!
Of the three IEMs reviewed, is the Campfire Holocene your favorite, combining details with musicality ?

Hi. i would like to know what eartips you use for moondrop variation? thx for good work ^____^
Thanks mate! I basically squeezed final type E tips on them. They do work but... After some time mine tore so just be careful :)
Any iem that affordable, that gives good details.
The Etymotic Er2 is very decent if you are on a budget :)
@@SuperChonk does the 3xr sound better than the 2xr
