Just a shame the front springs that came on it are useless I put the stronger springs on thinned the oil and wow its amazing now

lol yeah the combo of the stiffer springs and shock extenders was too much as you saw took them off and she is a beast now
In my Maxx slash the biggest difference in how it drives and handles came with the traxxas sway bar kit. A mush have for tuning for drivers who wants handling. Yes, the UDR tires has much better traction except on asphalt.
@@ericodom5427 actually I am beyond happy with out them proper suspension tuning and a good servo saver its good to go also helps if the center diff has the proper level of fluid to make it drive right. Its good it worked for you thanks for the info

27:41 you do have it WRONG . . . for someone else's opinion of what THEY want.
My initial review video the servo saver was dead out of the box and tqi was off Traxxas tech support was clueless the big air bashers thought the small travel of this suspension could handle jumps and I said it was not a basher but I was wrong because it didn't break so that is the standard now lol. Who cares if it cant land a jump at all. I was told I cant drive because it would roll over I was told all rcs traction roll well as you saw here it is capable of ripping very fast but the servo saver needs to be strong enough to hold the wheels I found it was turning on its own when hitting bumps causing it to flip way too easily its the reason why you and Earl had problems with the trim and keeping it straight the wheels were wandering Just funny I was wrong for wanting it to actually drive the basher crowd hated this because they were wanting it to be an xmaxx and take big air which is beyond its design what I was doing was actually driving it lol
The manual says 60w in all 4.
@@larc9311 no look again 50 and 60 are in light gray thats what is used unless you have some updated manual or your finding it somewhere else the parts list shows the 2 oils where do you see just 60?
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife this is copied directly from the online manual "From the factory, the GT-Maxx shocks are filled with 60W shock oil."
@larc9311 this comes directly from the manual that came in the box page 3 parts list 2 oils in light gray 50 and 60 nothing about these shocks come prefilled with. That's if you buy the shocks separately its not in the owners manual if you actually had that you would see it just lists the shocks in different colors nothing about oil difference between a shock manual and what they put in the car

It's more of a dirt truck i think.
Its a great ground vehicle not a big jumper

@L2theWcarscoffeelife yeah not that low was just saying the back higher then the front and to get the C.G. 50/50 for jumping I'm 42 I don't like the squat.
