Temperatures boiled over before a ball was kicked when Arsenal hosted Manchester United in February 2005. Roy Keane had a heated exchange with Patrick Vieira in the Highbury tunnel as the teams were preparing to walk out. Manchester United went on to win the game 4-2.

As a Liverpool fan, I would of loved to have had Keane in my team.

This is the defining Premier League game in my opinion. 2 biggest teams that had a rivalry so huge it showed even off the pitch. It was the last great days of English football before it became more integrated into the European bubble (despite this being between a Frenchman and an Irishman). This match was a blockbuster. Luckily my team won! I will never forget that night. A mid-season league match, yet it had all the drama of a cup final between a rock and hard place.

The tension in those games when AFC & MU went head to head, was the most intense of any games in PL history, as an AFC fan it started with me days before the game.
Both fans knew for those seasons that these games could/did actually decide the title.
