I have the same car stereo for my golf mk5 but I have battery drain and the stereo restart when I use the car every 15/30 minutes. The electrician that made the work have installed a phonocar can bus to make the wheel control works and remove the battery drain but I have the same problem… I think that another can bus harness is required for my car. What are you used for that car?

Yes , you need to put 12 volt from rear parking lamp in to the purple cable of the pioneer iso cables , it is signed as rear gear input signal
