I'll admit, those sour concoctions sound amazing! The green candy is always my favorite out of any bag... LOL! Everyone has different taste buds and there's no right or wrong answer! I wish I could get to be there to try those.❤

We did rainforest cafe at the end of our trip in Disney springs at the time it was as close as we could get to a character meal. While I didn't enjoy the food as much as I did at other places in Disney it was a great night out at the end of our trip with some last minute souvenirs
We made the mistake of taking our five kids to Rainforest Cafe. We’re obviously used to noise with five kids 😜 but the atmosphere in this place is unbearably loud. We were shouting the entire time we were there. The food was equivalent to your local Applebees, but your bill will be about 4 times the amount. Service was as good as it could be in such a chaotic environment though.
While Yak & Yeti is a good alternative, it should be noted that the Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes quick service is pretty meh. It may have Yak & Yeti in the name, but it's no Yak & Yeti.
One of the best meals I EVER HAD at a restaurant was chicken parm at Rainforest Cafe at Niagria falls. It was mind blowing. Since then? I still love Rainforest, but I’ve never been wowed like that. Maybe they will be stellar one day, and AJ will have no choice but to sing their new menu praises. You never know
I actually wanted to go to Rainforest Cafe only because the one near me closed down many, many years ago ,and the closest is in New Jersey and the second closest is the one in Animal Kingdom.
I had a really bad first time experience at Sautu’li. The proteins were VERY undercooked and my hubby and I got sick from them (we got the chicken, which was pink and the sliced beef was also bright red). Definitely not for people who are picky meat eaters like me. The cheeseburger bao was good though!
When my family and I go to animal kingdom, we eat at Yak and Yeti.We have eaten at rainforest too and it’s pretty good most of the time.I never buy any of the prepackaged pop corn.
Planning a trip for late February/ early March 2023. I haven’t been since I was a teenager in 2010. I’m so excited to see the changes and have my adult money to buy all the stuff I don’t need! 😂
Can we stop the hate of the puffy pizza? I took a group of 15 teens to the park and pizzafari was very well received. It’s also a good vegetarian choice if you forego pepperoni. If the pizza wasn’t popular Disney would not have kept it on the menu for all these years.
I always interpret it as not so much hate so much as it's a fairly standard tasting pizza that isn't anything you can't get at home, and if you're spending that much money to go to Disney, plus the fact that food at Disney is more expensive than outside, it's just not worth it when you can get something else. When other factors are involved, "not bad" isn't "good".
My family and I ate at Pizzafari in 2019 and typically we love pizza but this was awful. We ate what we could and left. In fact all the pizza we tried at WDW was not good especially for the price. Everyone is different. 🙂
My small child likes it, because it's pizza and he's little. So it does serve the purpose of providing something basic for picky eaters. I would never go there on my own though.
#1. Bugs. I know Florida has some of the biggest, most protein packed bugs, and easily the best price for a snack in the park. And while they look tempting, I'd say maybe not the best choice. Avoid.
Lol aww rainforest cafe has the nostalgia factor for me.. animal kingdom was the first time I saw rainforest cafe when AK first opened... I still like it
I hate that I have to agree with you because I was so excited to try them! But luckily my husband got a steak and chicken bowl and that was absolutely delicious 😋.
We're doing a pre-cruise day at Animal Kingdom before our cruise in May. We plan to have breakfast at Tusker House and dinner at Flame Tree BBQ so I think we're safe!
Thank you For making these videos my daughter is graduating from high school in June we are avid Disneyland goers as we live in California we’re going to try to make our first trip to Disney World for my daughters graduation present hopefully this summer your videos are very helpful to us in planning our trip
I ate at Rainforest Cafe at the Burlington Mall in Massachusetts when I was younger. Was not a fan of the theming or the food. Would not eat there at Disney and will gladly check out Tusker House or Yak & Yeti. Thanks so much AJ!
Great video as always, AJ! Although always confused when you call bao...bao bun? Bao is bun in Chinese, which I guess it's cute to call it a bun bun but that's kinda weird haha Thanks for all the recs :)
I've fallen victim to Pizzafari 😫😂 but this was our very first trip in 2008 and had ZERO clue about DFB Guide, so this video definitely would have been helful to us back in the day 😭
We did the rainforest cafe last time. I thought the atmosphere was super cool! Our little kids loved it! We are from small town USA and don’t have anything like that where we are from. And the menu was perfect for our picky eater kids. However, all of the adults agreed the food was only so so.
I agree with the other comments regarding the cheeseburger pods, I was very underwhelmed. I thought it was very dry and flavorless. In my opinion it was dry and needed much more seasoning, or chopped pickles and shredded cheese. They are a great concept, some tweaking and they could be really good. The homemade chips were very good though. If you really want a burger, find one in the park and enjoy.
I was able to get a Landry's gift card with credit card points for my last Disney trip. I went back and forth deciding between Yak and Yeti, Rainforest Cafe and TRex since I was coming with my two little kids. We went to Yak and Yeti and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious and it still had a fun themed atmosphere.
Pizzafari pizza is puffy pillow pizza unless you get the gluten free pizza option. The crust isn’t super puffy and it’s seasoned. My husband’s pizza was so much better than my regular pizza!
Sorry, but I'm just not into Satuli canteen, Sanaa, or any other African flavors. I'.ve just never had the palate for spicy flavors. I do love Yak and Yeti though.
Will tusker house provide chicken fingers if you ask? We are hoping to get in for breakfast but right now have a lunch reservation, and my kiddo is on the spectrum and especially picky about food but dying to see mickey in his safari outfit.
I’m not going to Rainforest Cafe when we visit (we had a reservation but cancelled a few days ago when another restaurant opened up), but it looks delicious. Not sure why “unique” means worst lol. But I do get it, there’s other options and things to experience exclusive to Disney.
I ruined my friends' lunch trip to Chicago as a kid because I was terrified of the darkness and thunderstorms at Rainforest Cafe. Definitely good info to keep in mind for kiddos!
The worst thing we tried (a week ago) at Animal Kingdom was the soft (stale & hard) pretzel with a cheese sauce that was like eating overly salted paste. The kid’s meal burger was completely lacking in flavor. At least the Dole Whip was still delicious
I had a similar experience, I had heard and seen rave reviews but was totally underwhelmed by it. The food selection was only OK but nowhere near as good as at other Disney buffets.
Could not disagree more with skipping Rainforest. My family LOVES Rainforest! It is the ONLY restaurant we visit every time that has never disappointed any of us ever.
I was very nervous about Tusker House because my daughter is very picky. I booked it to make sure she saw Donald. They brought her a plate of chicken tenders and fries. She Did end up eating some of the roasted chicken, though. The food was awesome and we had a wonderful time.
Animal kingdom is not my fave park. I can’t ride most of the rides and I end up bored by mid day. But I LOVE the night blossom drink and the pineapple lumpia. The warm cream cheese, sooo goood. I go just for hanging out in Pandora eating snacks lol
Hi! Im going to disney soon. And me and my family may stay at the “Port Orleans Hotel.” Before we Get a room, Can you make a video, on how the transportation is, dining, like the normal way you would rate a hotel? Have a good day!^^
We took our kids to Rainforest Cafe because we thought they'd love it. My son did (9) but my daughter (7) sat the whole lunch with her hands over her ears. She didn't like all the noise.
$5.29 for corn on the cob?! Are you insane? Mickey style snacks and anniversary specials, I get it, but CORN? A home grown crop sold by the dozen for less that $5? I'm bringing my own fruit and snacks in of course, but there has to be a better option that this. Please recommend.
It's really yummy corn though, and the price is actually good, considering it's inside one of the most expensive theme parks in the world. Like how a soda from a gas station is $1, but at Disney it's what- $4.50? Last time we got the corn, the cast member said "oh, that one looks small, here's an extra one", wink wink. 🙂
I like the blurb about the corn on the cobb. Covers everything in my comment under your last video, including notes about the price, being a healthy option, and that it comes with or without spices. I see what you did there, wink wink. 😉 It's so yummy I'm happy it's being mentioned this time though. 🌽
Love this video! I will say though, as an editor myself, i found that the background music was a bit distracting, i think it’s better off to have no music. I don’t think it’s necessary :)
Regarding Tusker House: I had a reservation (for one) for lunch on February 6, basically going for the characters. Because of ongoing dental work, I could eat none of the food, except for most of the dessert. The allergy chef came out and listened carefully to my requirements and created a special meal for me: a delicious spinach cream soup, Impossible Meat meatballs on carrot purée, and a slightly spicy hummus with some pita wedges. This was not a lot of food, but I was not super hungry. The characters did not go very far into the back room where they seated me, but the attendant did go from table to table to make sure that everyone who wanted a photo with a character got one. Daisy was really, really social-distance-crazy, which was kind of off-putting to me.
Am I the only person who doesn't understand the love for the burger pods? It tasted like a gherkin flavoured cotton wool ball 🤢 It's not something I would ever eat again and would never inflict one on a child.
A lot of people love them because they say they taste like McDonald's. And they're simple things you can try and get kids to eat. And they're considered a cheaper and more filling snack. But I can see why some people don't like them.
Oh wow, who the heck thought of that Raya cone? Thats the stupidest thing I've seen. You cover the handhold of the cone in chocolate... chocolate melts in your hand.... genius. Now all it needs is blue dye that stains everything... oh it has that too. Did they even test it or just spitball the idea?
Love the honesty in your videos ... they are informative but not just hyping up everything Disney has to offer ..
That's what I like about these videos. Like, yeah, it's a Disney Channel but it's more honest than some of the channels.
AJ and team could you please rank the mac and cheese throughout the parks?! :)
Yes!!
Great idea
AJ? Eat mac and cheese? Like that'll ever happen. 😉
I'll admit, those sour concoctions sound amazing! The green candy is always my favorite out of any bag... LOL! Everyone has different taste buds and there's no right or wrong answer! I wish I could get to be there to try those.❤
I was thinking the same thing!

Honestly I absolutely love the fruit despite it being overpriced. It’s super refreshing on hot days and isn’t super sugary.
Rainforest Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants and the food works for me. Pandora is my Animal Kingdom favorite.

I enjoy the Rainforest Cafe. Food was good.
Rainforest café used to be good back when they had real sparklers in the volcano, its gone downhill since
While Yak & Yeti is a good alternative, it should be noted that the Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes quick service is pretty meh. It may have Yak & Yeti in the name, but it's no Yak & Yeti.
Good to know! I thought maybe I could skip making a reservation, but it sounds like it’s worth making one 👍🏼. Thanks for sharing.

Every meal I've had at Rainforest and T-Rex have been REALLY good, and not over-priced at all! Especially not compared to 'The Parks'!
If you want to dine with actual animals and not with animatronic animals, try Sanna at animal kingdom lodge!
Daughter and I always loved Rainforrest Cafe when it was in DDisney But yes we can still go to one nearby
I loved the scar drink. I got the spiked one and it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back and get another one
Pizzafari is lit. Sometimes you want uninteresting food with cool things on the wall.
Lol aww rainforest cafe has the nostalgia factor for me.. animal kingdom was the first time I saw rainforest cafe when AK first opened... I still like it
I was disappointed with the cheeseburger pods, they are all dough and no meat. I would not recommend them.

The yak was good, the yeti not so much.
Yeah you gotta get it reeeally fresh 🤷🏻♀️

sometimes I can't help but feel like the main reason I want to go to disney is because of all the crazy snacks and treats there
I've always loved rainforest/tres cafe and wasn't wowed by yak and yet I when I went but I'd like to try again!
I carried a soda bottle around the magic kingdom refilling it at water fountain’s throughout the day
I loved the "Scar's Revenge"
Pizzafari pizza is puffy pillow pizza unless you get the gluten free pizza option. The crust isn’t super puffy and it’s seasoned. My husband’s pizza was so much better than my regular pizza!
I love your show but I have eaten at Rainforest Cafe aand have not had one bad experience. Is always good and the food is delicious.
Sorry, but I'm just not into Satuli canteen, Sanaa, or any other African flavors. I'.ve just never had the palate for spicy flavors. I do love Yak and Yeti though.
At Tusker House the multi color bread was in the shape of Wisconsin! Go cow colored bread!
Yak and Yeti and Boma are the best meals I've had at Disney so far.
DFB and Pizza Snobbery…yeah we get it.
Yak and Yeti is one of my favorite restaurants.
Will tusker house provide chicken fingers if you ask? We are hoping to get in for breakfast but right now have a lunch reservation, and my kiddo is on the spectrum and especially picky about food but dying to see mickey in his safari outfit.
Tell your server. They are very accommodating to people with unusual eating issues.
rainforest cafe is not vegetarian friendly at all, which is really disappointing because the theming is so fun
I’m not going to Rainforest Cafe when we visit (we had a reservation but cancelled a few days ago when another restaurant opened up), but it looks delicious. Not sure why “unique” means worst lol. But I do get it, there’s other options and things to experience exclusive to Disney.
If I wanted to do a Rainforest Cafe, I'd go to Disney Springs for T-Rex Cafe. Same food, much different theming.
I ruined my friends' lunch trip to Chicago as a kid because I was terrified of the darkness and thunderstorms at Rainforest Cafe. Definitely good info to keep in mind for kiddos!
I love sour stuff and can never find anything sour enough.. ugh
I love sour, so I have no trouble with the Scar's Lair.
Still waiting on a marshmallow focused vid, but keep at it.
The worst thing we tried (a week ago) at Animal Kingdom was the soft (stale & hard) pretzel with a cheese sauce that was like eating overly salted paste. The kid’s meal burger was completely lacking in flavor. At least the Dole Whip was still delicious
For tusker house I ate there one time during my trip one year and the food was meh
I had a similar experience, I had heard and seen rave reviews but was totally underwhelmed by it. The food selection was only OK but nowhere near as good as at other Disney buffets.
@@shamudogsmith1751 yeah, the only highlight was the characters, the food was more meh compared to most other Disney buffets
Am I the only one on planet earth who loves Rizzo’s and Pizafari?
They have their fans. People like them because they're simple, filling options.
I adore Rizzo’s, but I don’t think I’ve ever been to Pizafari
I like rain forest cafe. But I agree with everything else you said.
Could not disagree more with skipping Rainforest. My family LOVES Rainforest! It is the ONLY restaurant we visit every time that has never disappointed any of us ever.
Lol I always bring gas station snacks with me .I refuse to pay for it in the park lol
I was very nervous about Tusker House because my daughter is very picky. I booked it to make sure she saw Donald. They brought her a plate of chicken tenders and fries. She Did end up eating some of the roasted chicken, though. The food was awesome and we had a wonderful time.
Y&Y is definitely one of my fave restaurants at WDW.
I forgot to get the corn last month until they were already closed :(
Ours to 😊
I love what you do
Animal kingdom is not my fave park. I can’t ride most of the rides and I end up bored by mid day. But I LOVE the night blossom drink and the pineapple lumpia. The warm cream cheese, sooo goood. I go just for hanging out in Pandora eating snacks lol

I know I would have hated it as a kid. Those big fake animals would have scared me.
When I went as a kid I loved it but whenever the thunder came on I made my cousin take me to see the elephants because I was scared lmao
Yak and yeti does have some good food worth the price I guess
Havent started but i bet Pizzafari is on this list
I really want to go to Yak and Yeti!

THE HONEY PISTACHIO CROISSANT
Tusker House is amazing!

I’ve never been so early to a DFB video lol
I'm visiting AK next month 😁
Love this video! I will say though, as an editor myself, i found that the background music was a bit distracting, i think it’s better off to have no music. I don’t think it’s necessary :)
Well that’s convenient i am there right now
If there's a Coke slushie on the menu, I don't care where I am; I'm buying one lol

It is cool that someone came out and made sure they made something you could eat.
@@rosesweetcharlotte it would have been $55 for three pieces of cake, otherwise! And maybe some mac and cheese.
I’ll be dreaming of my next Mac n cheese @ Animal Kingdom 🤤❤️
EW! Rainforest Cafe?! Why is it IN Disney parks?!
It's Applebee's with animatronics. Nothing against Applebee's, just really nothing special.
I would love to skip the fries but since my family is vegetarian it's one of the only options we have 😭😭😭😭
can i just say the exhibits?
Am I the only person who doesn't understand the love for the burger pods? It tasted like a gherkin flavoured cotton wool ball 🤢 It's not something I would ever eat again and would never inflict one on a child.
A lot of people love them because they say they taste like McDonald's. And they're simple things you can try and get kids to eat. And they're considered a cheaper and more filling snack. But I can see why some people don't like them.
I'm with you. They're incredibly dry and bland, and taste stale.
The ice cream was so good at animal kingdom that I had it twice
Zuri’s is good 👍
Gluten-free pizza is usually terrible. Strangely, I like Disney's g-f puffy pizza.
I got seriously bad food poisoning from Yak & Yeti. Ruined the rest of my trip. 10/10 would not recommend.
I'm convinced whoever thought of that was going through a bunch of stuff and took it out on this snack.
This thumbnail made me laugh 😂
The cheeseburger pods were disgusting
These are the worst things? Then what do they feed the animals? 🦬🐃🐪🦒🐘🦏🦘
I am not a fan of Tusker House at all.
