- Just showing off our The Flat Head type II jacket. It’s fade potentials and the beauty of rope dyed Japanese denim.
The faded type II in the background was bought at Self Edge in 2011 and was a staple in my wardrobe for about three years. Somehow I’ve thickened up and I decided to cop the 44 in the video. It’s a great raw denim jacket. Enjoy the video.
I bought one of these from you almost exactly a year ago. First wash last week! Absolutely killer jacket.
Glad your loving it. I grabbed my second one last night. Took the lady out and felt good to have something new on.

@@MrBrianMandl man I probably washed it 2-3 times at the most. I’ll probably do this one a little different. Ima wear it hard as best I can then wash it as often as I can
Didn’t shrink at all. I got one too and haven’t washed yet. It shouldn’t shrink at all because it’s a one wash but just curious??
@@TonySophey Tony! Yeah, I don’t think I observed much if any shrinking for this jacket. Certainly nothing that had changed the size or how I’d wear it. Hope this helps!
they dont get enough credit for just how anal they are about stitching and construction. their garments are the absolute top tier when it comes to build! also make for beautiful vintage fades if you want to regularly wash the garments too. some of the brands are often good at one or the other but not great at both.

Presale question. How much will these shrink if I throw it in cold wash? I was looking at the 44 on your website and was worried if the arms because I’m built like franikenstein with my arms
These are preshrunk/ sanforized. So a cold wash shouldn’t shrink much
Flat heads make the best shirts and jeans out there glad ya carry them. Maybe iron heart is a competitor but their shirts are usually too long compared to TFH
Yea man. Fit is important.
I also consider Flat Head a competitor to Iron Heart, but the Flat Head shirts re too short in general. The long sleeves on the IH is a big draw for many.
Just don’t buy it from the flathead in Japan they won’t return or exchange anything I wasted $2500 with those ass hats because they wouldn’t exchange something for me

Never buy anything from the flathead out of Japan. They won’t return or exchange anything that you purchase I made a $2500 purchase of a deer skid leather jacket that was two sizes too large. I even offered to pay the duty to ship it back and they would do nothing for me. I absolutely hate the flathead. They’re the worst damn company in the world.
Man. I hate that you had a bad experience buying direct from them. Just another good reason to buy from a US retailer. We would have been the middle man on this, and got your sizing correct before even shipping it to you. Still some of my favorite products in the shop. Their service and our service is totally different.
