Now there's a guy with impeccable taste. The French love their gilded furniture and I like it too.

    Monsieur Garcia,

I brought a copy of a French commode of Charles Cressent made in the 1960’s by a Valencia cabinet maker. Superb copy , with gilded brass . Valencia it’s a region east of Madrid in the Mediterranean and they have a long tradition of furniture makers, some are very skilled. Amazing that we still have people able to build a art piece. I pay a lot but the real cressent commodes go for 1,3 million of FRF. It’s have the close to the best. The real one very expensive but I feel this one was built for me. Would be a great exhibition with the real French furniture and the copies. Thanks for your video

Beautiful story about him being there as a child and saying something so profound for a child and then to later be in charge of it all
    Wonderful ❤️

I think great designers have fooled the world. They are natural hoarders that cover up their issues by only hoarding beautiful objects. Incredible talent ! but the best part that highlighted this mans genius was his garden ideas ! Taking something old and dated then mixing it up with new techniques, applications and compositions ? Only a well cultured person who studied all forms of art and history could be capable of such creations ! This man is truly one of a kind and a living treasure ❣

Beautiful! Question: why don't they make stairs like this anymore, low to step up on every step, they knew what they were doing, now they make steps high (hard for short legs to travel up upon).
