When you asked for help and Rob said no he'd rather film, I bet he felt the "eye" slap you gave him. Priceless. We used to have little Santa's like that one when I was a child. Wow, memories.
The mourning head pieces/?hats? are wonderful, but my favorite is the beaded shawl thingy! Thanks to your wonderful collection of uranium glass, I have begun to collect salt shakers. I understand before the 40's they used the individual salts, so I guess mine is a mid century collection. I have 5 pieces and it takes 3 to become a collection lol. Great video! (I may have to expand to ashtrays also, that one is so cool!) The pictures you were gifted are amazing, love seeing the clips worn like that. I sold shoes for 12 years and was seriously convinced they were for shoes. 😃 that's why I'm not an expert lol!
I saw a picture in our court house that was made with hair. I was surprised to see it. They have the main lobby set up with antiques and things from the county. If i remember i will try to get a picture of it the next time im there if you want.
Hope you have someone to do the background work on those needlepoints. It is so boring to do. LOVE that great carved wooden frame you bought. Have collected frames, mostly small, for probably 40 years. Linda from Va. love the small Santa. My Mom collected baby bottles and they were an easy sale. Candle molds are not rare here on Southwestern VA. I definitely have read of mourning crepes bot have never seen one. Thx!
There's not a whole lot of modern uranium glass because of the increased cost of uranium after World War II. There are some pieces that were made after World War II but most of them are worth more because it was produced less.
Rob, you could fill the baby bottle with the "beverage" of your choice, and lay the flat side on your chest, and it won't roll off. No guarantee you won't roll off whatever you're lounging on, once you're finished! LoL
Those shoes could go to a museum! Wow! And luv that Persian muff! The mink tail scarf....wow! Luv the keys. I’m glad to see you rescuing the furs again! You’re going to run out of wall space lol 😂 great photos and prints you picked up today! The frames are amazing! See you on the next round!
The needlepoint/pettipoint pieces just have the main designs done. Someone needs to fill in the background so the mesh isn't visible before framing or making into a pillow or small bench seat. Often you can buy them like that and the buyer finishes them. I know from my mom! Usually finished in a beige/neutral color. My mom is Norwegian and an expert in these things!!😃
I bet both you guys dream in uranium colors. I think you need to find an old fluoroscope machine. Then you could really make everything glow green. They had them in shoe stores to make sure your shoes fit correctly.
Thank you for sharing! o man o man so much good stuff ! holy cow I have the same uranium glass juicer and it is also chipped in the same place! wow what a trip! that must be a commen thing to happen.. good to know its still worth 10 bucks-lol
28:35, I have that print as well, and I think that is also on the wall of the hospital ward in the first Harry Potter movie! (I saw the pictures of the storm that blew through Newfoundland this weekend, and it sent me to see what the weather is at your place today! So far, so good!)
@@BargainBarons I wish we did, nj not so much everybody jumps at it. Maybe you were good luck I just went to goodwill by me and found a pyrex 444 Cinderella sandalwood bowl, yeah.
OOOOH, OOOH,,OOOH, Uh, Hi kids, coming down from my antique freak out! When Nancy said Civil war, my ears got pointy! What amazing stuff, just LOVE everything,I'd pay just to touch them!!! Your baby bottle may be for new babies, when mother's couldn't nurse, & the babies fed every 2 hours, just 4 ounces at most! The shoes awesome, oh what the heck, everything is awesome! Gee I had a good time, wish I was there! Best, Carol
Many moons ago while cleaning out a garage, I came across a glass beaded garment. I have no idea what it was bc it was literally disintegrating in my hands. I bagged it for later and picked all the beads off of it, which I still have.
All the mourning items, are factual. The lady knows here stuff., :) I've read up on those things.. I love factual information. True stories is all I read.
Good morning Rob and Karen! Day off for me today, having my morning coffee with you guys! I really loved that UV glass at the mall especially that mason jar. Sigh....and luv the socks! Haaaa ha I need to go to our antique mall today now ❤️😊❗️
What time of year was this filmed....I got a giggle out of the people in line in light weight jackets or hoodies. Reminders me of Minnesota....it cracks 45-50 degrees in the spring and we are breaking out the flip flops. Doesn't matter there is some remnants of snow on the ground or not.
Only the dresser drawer from a video when we were loading it into the truck - then Karen did a project vlog where she fixed the drawer. Believe it or not, that's it so far! LOL
I love your shows regardless but it really sucks that we don’t get to look with you. I know it’s not your fault. I wish that they would abandon that rule! Jmo

Awesome job TERMINATORS! I love the sales when a relative just opens the door of a full house and says "have at it" 😂💪

Amazing stuff! In love with the vintage women’s shoes! I like the extra footage at the end... especially the chicken 😂💕
Did that antique mall close? You haven’t had videos from there for a long time, really enjoyed watching them and seeing all your antiquing friends 😊
No it's still open, but it's a lot more expensive than garage and yard sales....
Have a bless day 🙏 💖 ✨️ ✨️ ✨️

Sometime mothers would clip the first lock of baby's hair and preserve it in a brooch or necklace.
makes you wonder, where the heck did nancy get all this stuff? and all her knowledge of it. awesome

Ale 8 is a soft drink that is made in Winchester, KY
Oh the answer's right here LOL
You wonder sometimes, where do these people find all that good stuff!

What kind of light are you using.

That beaded black dress was amazing! Did you try it on?
It's tight.... :)
Even though my son is 37 I get him socks every year for Christmas . He has come to depend on it lol
Hahaha :) It's a good gift! =D
Glad you guys found Jesus! Lol good deal on the needle points.
Hahahaha Thanks John! =)

I have seen that Santa before.

This was early spring 2018.
I'm from Kentucky, and wanted v to ask you all if you have ever tried Ale 8
Hi Jackie!! No we've never heard of it. Is it a soft drink?
Hey, socks are expensive! You have to grab them when they are cheap.
I thought Nancy retired from selling.
This is an older video from last winter when she was still selling.
I redid our first 85 videos to improve the audio....
Your birthday is April 6th Karen.. now that wasn't so hard to find... :) LOL So Rob doesn't feel left out his is April 22nd....
:D :D :D :D
Beside the tee shirt merch,
Where do I go to buy your stuff?? Or do you Keep it all?
Hi Dorothy!! We do not have an online shop yet, but plan on setting up an Etsy shop once our season starts again this spring.
@@BargainBarons thanks for responding. I'll be keep an eye out for you on Etsy then...In the spring.
Do you two still keep in touch with Yvonne and Nancy? I wonder how they are sometimes. Nancy always found all that mourning memorabilia.
Nancy has moved to the USA, but we still talk to and see Yvonne from time to time. =)
Bottle could be for a newborn
What I was thinking
Have you ever broken something in transit? That would make me so angry with myself.
Do not drool on Nancy's merchandise. 😜
Only the dresser drawer from a video when we were loading it into the truck - then Karen did a project vlog where she fixed the drawer. Believe it or not, that's it so far! LOL
☮
Who is Jeff's hair stylist?
not sure... lol
You had to leave the house through the widows so the ghost didn’t come through the doors
Yea the chicken will be in your bed like the God father 🤣🤣🤣
Hi love you gies
I thought Nancy retired, or am I mistaken?
Old video from spring of 2018.... you are correct, she's retired now.
I re-released it because I've redone the audio and made it alot better.
Don't tell people it's not your birthday "tomorrow" . Wait for the gifts, then tell them! It's better to apologize then to ask permission!
lol
Jesus that line 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
👏🏻🥰
Birsthday. You musta been tired of editing lol
id be all over the fur pelts if I was there with you...
