Is it hated? I never heard it until last year. I really disliked Mariah Carey when she was first popular, and though I’ve mellowed about that, I probably would’ve like her better if this was the first thing I’d heard by her. Besides liking hearing her sing rock 'n' roll, I find the vocals much less show-offy, which was a turnoff back then.
