As I broncos fan I have to reveal that this game was one of the best games I’ve seen the broncos play in a while
And they would've beaten 28 of the league's offenses today. Mahomes brings that X-factor to clutch 3rd downs, but Denver's defense was on display here.

It’s just bad QB play when they don’t see him open. This game is a perfect example of what Jeudy can do and has done when you look for him.

I find that disrespectful to the REAL qb's (i.e: pocket passers) That was total play ground, as is MUCH of Mahome's game. That was a school yard gimmick that has no place in the NFL of 2022. All these new-age wildcat/run option "QB's" will play out after a few more years.
Chiefs and Mahomes almost self destructed. We’re fortunate Chef Russ got injured or we were likely losing. A lot of things to tidy up before the playoffs.

I am as well. The Broncos played hard, expect nothing less from them being a divisional opponent. But we made them look like a playoff team today. I can't see us winning a SB with this team. We have no ability to pull away from teams and for some reason, even though we played well on both sides of the ball, we allowed them to make us look terrible on both sides of the ball. We will not win close games vs good teams if the team is coached like this.

Even though we are now officially eliminated from the playoffs, this was Denver’s best game of the season. Next season will hopefully be better.

SO much praise for the Broncos and their ability to fight back into yet almost NO credit to the Chiefs for winning, and no one talking about the fact that this game was ONLY close because of three interceptions. Take those away and this game was an UGLY blow out. Talking 40 or 50 plus points to maybe 14. It's good to be optimistic but you should also be realistic. This game was going very badly for Broncos and they got EXTREMELY lucky.
I also loved seeing Russ Wilson look like his old self again. If the man could get some protection he'd be having a great season. Hope he's okay after that scary injury and hope he's back out there real soon.

As a Seattle Seahawks fan I was sad when they traded Wilson but I love the guy. Hoped broncos would go to the Super Bowl this year. This game really had Wilson playing like the great qb we all know he is. Had a flashback to the Seattle greenbay playoff game. I’m sure if Wilson didn’t get hurt the broncos would have won this game.

The INTs are the reason the game was even close. Plus your playing at altitude in Denver. Tell me another QB that can have 3 turnovers against the denver defense and still pull out a win.

The Broncos may have possibly the nicest, classiest fans of any NFL game I have ever attended. I wasn’t sure what to expect, regardless of records, but they were pure class, cheered on their team, and had fun in the stadium even when they were down 27-0. The fans next to me even continued to compliment and begrudgingly high-five even Chiefs fans when there was a good play, despite obviously yelling their heads off for the Broncos and definitely wanting them to win. Much respect.

As a Seahawks fan, I have a hard time believing the Broncos lack of offensive production falls solely on Russ. That said, it would probably be in his best interests to restructure his contract so they can get him an o line next year.
I completely agree - If I was Russ Wilson taking 4-6 sacks a game it is a no brainer for my health and my career to give up 2-3 million a year to get better O-line talent in free agency!

The AFC West teams are created specifically to beat KC, so it’s always gonna be a battle. Plus, after losing 13 straight, you know Denver is coming after them with every thing they have. They play again in a few more weeks. It’ll be interesting to see how that one turns out

I've been getting clowned for weeks saying people gave up on Russ too soon. Clearly coaching and injury fukd with this season. I'm not saying he isn't washed, maybe he is but he's a top 10 QB of the 2010's and never played this bad til he got to Denver. Hope to see him get another shot next year.
Edit: and yeah he's said and done some cringe stuff lol still one of the great qbs of his time.
