Great tutorial, nice pattern, I will buy the yarn and make one. Thank you for taking the time to explain clearly the process of making this lovely shawl.
Thank you so much for all of the tutorials. I have gotten out of my comfort zone and tried to not stick with stitches that I can do by feel instead of by sight. I am visually challenged and it took a while but am happy I am finally able to be more versatile in what I am able to make.
I love the Latte Cakes and I have a lot of them but I haven't found the right pattern until now! I printed the pattern and followed along with your tutorial. You always do such a fabulous job with your tutorials that I know I can do this one without any difficulty!! Thank you for all that you do!! I definitely appreciate all the time and energy you spend bringing such amazing content to the crochet world!! :-)
I have several colors of Latte cakes I'll be using for this to make for myself, daughter and sister! I'm also going to try a modified version of the pattern to make an Infinity scarf. Thanks Mikey for making and sharing this video and the perfect pace and details for this gorgeous Shawl.
I really like this shawl! So often shawls are lacy & feminine, but this one is kind of rustic, stay at home shawl!! Very nice. I don’t like eyelash yarn, but that’s just me. Thanks Mikey!
Hi Mikey. . This is so pretty and just what I need to motivate me to get busy. Your directions are so easy. But what happens if the color change happens at the center point??? Linda
He didn't control the colour changes, so it really doesn't matter if you follow his instructions. If you're asking about running out of yarn at the point, you could either join whenever it happens or simply start the row with the new cake. Hope this helps.
@@Kimbermoi ....I have never used color changing yarn before. I guess if the color changed at the center "V" and it was so obvious that it super bothered me, I could pull out some stitches and force the color change to occur in advance of the center. I really appreciate your willingness to share your expertise. Thank you so very much..... Linda Abbet
Is there always a chain 2 AND 2 HDC in the first stitch? It seems to me like that would make 3 on the beginning side but only 2 on the end. Do the 2 beginning chains not count as a stitch?
I don't know why but I can't get any links to work....so I'm watching you and writing down what you say...I got one side of what I'm turning into a sweater from the short row scarf from yesterday....💯💙💛💜☮️🌹
That’s off the links won’t work. But you can find the patterns on his website Fastest way to get to it is googling his company and the name of the project Example this project “the crochet crowd make a point shawl” There is a blue button in the article that will get you to the written pattern
Love the latte cakes and they are easy to work with. I could not get this pattern to work no matter what I did. I had to rip it out 4 times and then gave up. Disappointed. On to another project.
How can there be a comment be posted 4 days ago when it says this video only came out 13 hours Ago. And by the way that was a different person who just happens to have the same name as me lol
